Frustrating app. Heaven help you if you need support. There is none. Chat support is a bot and no contact information is available. Online accounts haven't been able to connect for months so literally only good for self scanned receipts. Make sure they are only a few items per receipt as there is a limit to receipt length allowed. Of you exceed you'll get no benefit for your effort

If you decide to delete your account you can't just do it easily. You have to submit a request, clarify 2 to 3 times that you want deletion, and then you get an email back saying they can't and won't delete your data, just your profile. The rewards were abysmal for this level of intrusion. At least make it worth my while for forever access to my data.
I enjoyed the app at first and thought them adding games to play was a great way to get points easily. That is if they give you the points. You can play and play, and you'll be lucky to get any points. Points are earned for each task, but you don't know what equals a task. If you message Fetch, they ask you how many tasks you completed/points you should have. There's absolutely no way to know this. If you finally get enough points to cash in for a gift card, it does come in 3 days, no issues.
Used to be a great app, but they have dropped points a ton and raised the number of points needed for rewards. Not worth the time anymore. Offers continue to not be as good. They want you to play games for points now. It worked ok for awhile, but most if tge time now, I can't get the game to display as downloaded to earn points, or the points don't get awarded. Very frustrating. You can email support, but you never get the right amount earned when they are having "special" earn points promotion.
BEWARE: THEY NO LONGER PLAY BY THEIR OWN RULES! I've had success with this app and managed to find some great deals. Lately, I'm getting a lot of notifications of big point receipts being "unable to be processed." Pretty darn convenient. I'm playing by your rules, but you don't play by your own. I've been a couple hundred points away from another $50 redemption, but now I'm getting all sorts of errors from the app. This is turning out to be just as much of a garbage app as Receipt Hog.
They invalidated THOUSANDS of my points when I tried to actually redeem them for something. I went from 50k+ (which took an Absurd amount of time to collect, btw) to 11k, because "an issue was found with one of your receipts." NOTE: I NEVER VIOLATED TERMS OF SERVICE or anything, but received neither an answer nor my points back. I'm switching to iBotta, and I suggest everyone else do the same. Screw you, Fetch; you very much wasted A LOT of my time 🤬
Honestly, I used to really enjoy this app, and it was pretty easy to get points. Now they make it more difficult such as, "buy 3" or "buy 6" no one needs 6 packs of anything in their refrigerator/pantry. They're also making it difficult to gain referral points. If some1 scans your QR code, there should be no hoops to jump through it should automatically use your code even after they download. I've already started using other apps and will be done with this after I use all my points this time.
This app is good for scanning receipts and earing points. Now, the only drawback is that if you do not like the brands they are offering big points on, you're going to take 6 months to maybe a year just to make a 50 dollar card. it almost seems like a waste of time, effort, and money. Sometimes, you spend on a brand, and it isn't linked to points because it was of the wrong ounces or the wrong weight. Way to long for this to pay off. I wouldn't recommend this app, seriously!
Overall, this app is easy to use, but if you make online purchases through the Fetch Shop, the points will not be credited. When you put in a ticket, the agents handling the ticket are unable to credit enough points to make up for the actual amount of points that I should have received. I was given a credit of 1250 points to make up for not being credited 1888 points that I was owed for the purchase. They also refused to escalate when asked. Seems like false advertising or bait & switch.
They don't give you access to the full game library, you have to choose from like, 5 games and they're almost always casino games. That's the only reason my score is low, if it let me have access to the full library id be able to get points fast af. rn i get a $50 Amazon giftcard about every 3 months. Editing down to 2 stars cuz i cant cash out to my bank account or cash app. If you need money for bills, this wont help you.
I've had fetch for a long time now. When they had the daily spin for extra points it was easy to get points and felt rewarding. After they took the spin away and introduced games its gone downhill. The amount of points you get for games isn't worth it. I have a different app for games thats so much easier to use and rewarding to play. I still use fetch for my receipts, but thinking about finding a different app for that since it takes too long to even get enough points to cash out.
I love this app, been a member for at least 2 years. Since about the beginning of the year I'm having trouble getting credit for my game activity. The most recent game I downloaded, through the Fetch App, downloaded to my phone but doesn't appear on my list of games on Fetch. Before game activity wasn't tracking at all. I've filed tickets on several occasions, and customer service has given me credit. But I'm not getting all the credit that I should. And I can't participate in the contests.
Only halfway works. I just bought a $500 TV from Amazon and was supposed to get extra points, but the app didn't even find the purchase to give me the original points. Didn't even find other purchases from Amazon either, like ebooks. Doesn't find any purchases except (sometimes) Amazon, McDonald's, and Walmart even though lots of places send me e-receipts. Now this newest update has disconnected me from all of my linked accounts. All of these things need to be fixed.
Absolutely devastated! The app said I won 200,000 points in a sweepstakes. I ordered my gift cards so I can buy groceries. The next morning I get an email "Oops! A sweepstakes went awry. Here's 250 points in your account for the confusion." All my gift cards are canceled. No other explanation. I am starting to feel like this app isn't worth the trouble anymore and it's rigged so you can't get these big prizes.
Not sure what happened, but the app just quit working for me. It refuses to upload my receipts. It will stay on the scanning page for an hour and nothing happens. the circles go around and around, but nothing. ice reached out to customer service and that's a joke. They just give me prewritten responses, regardless of how many I reach out to. It's like they don't even read my emails. It's beyond frustrating. So I suppose now all I can do is uninstall the app. It's useless otherwise.
Even with all of the updates, it still takes 72 hours for your points to be redeemed, but milliseconds to cancel the redemption. My other issue with this app is that it got rid of the free spin wheel and you have to download games to play to earn extra points, which isn't all bad if you don't mind having limited options to choose from. Just like their response to my comment, they don't listen!!
This app worked well until recently. The app logged me out and there is no option to log back in with my email and password, only Google play or Facebook. I put in my ohone number but it keeps saying to log in. This means that I have to create a new account and lose all my points. That is disappointing and unfair. Please return the email option so that I can log back in.
I can't scan my long receipts! It doesn't always scan my email. I purchase items from numerous companies and can't get points for so many of the receipts. I see how people can get extra points for certain items but they can only be purchased at certain stores but those stores aren't located in my area. I started an offer that was suppedn to expire on 9-13 but it disappeared before the 10th! I was planning to complete that offer but I couldn't! It was taken down. before the expiration date!!
Okay 👍, I love ❤️ the simple interface and the way you can easily... and I mean the easiest way you can redeem your receipts for coins. I haven't redeemed any gift cards yet, but I will. I do have more than enough at this point. Guess I'm just saving up an over-abundance that way I'll always be able to redeem something; like even if it's just for a $10 gift card I'll always have the points to exchange when the mood strikes. Will definitely keep using... yep.
app started out great, but now every time I buy items to get bonus points, I never receive them. support has 90% of the time denied my requests to add the points even though they can clearly see the receipts. The final rip off was when I saved 55,000 points to buy an Amazon gift card and it was denied. once again support was USELESS. They even accused me of doctoring receipts because I folded really, really long ones. which I did because they only let you take 3 pictures to get the whole receipt
