I’ve been using Fiber Optic Color Code Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you quickly identify and interpret the color codes used for fiber optic cables. Pretty solid if you’re a telecom tech or engineer who works with this stuff.
There’s a bunch of interactive charts and color code references you can use. You can look up the standard codes for different cable sizes like 12, 24, 48 strands and more. Saves a ton of time when you’re out in the field splicing or troubleshooting. And there’s a mode for training too, which is nice.
Look, if you deal with fiber optics on the reg, you’ll probably find this really useful. It’s not perfect – the UI is a little basic and there are ads that can get annoying. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out if you’re in this line of work.
