Been using Field Recorder for a couple months now. It’s basically an audio recording app that turns your phone into a pro-level recording device. Pretty solid if you’re into music, podcasts, or just need to record stuff on the go.
Here’s what you can do – there’s a bunch of advanced audio settings like an equalizer and limiter, so you can really fine-tune the sound quality. And it’s got support for external mics and USB sound cards, which is super handy. Took me a bit to figure it all out but once you get the hang of it, it’s a breeze to use.
Look, if you’re an audio enthusiast or just need to record high-quality audio on your phone, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job really well. Definitely worth checking out.

So here's my take on Field Recorder. I've tested a ton of audio recording apps and this one's up there with the best. The sound quality is awesome, and I love how much control you have over the settings. And definitely more advanced than your basic voice recorder. But it can be a little overwhelming at first with all the features. And the UI isn't the most intuitive, took me a while to figure some stuff out. Overall though, it's a really solid option if you need a pro-level audio recorder on your phone.

This is the best recording app for users who want more control. Using is since long time.
I like this app and would probably give it 5 stars, but it wants to open every time I plug in my usb-c headset, and there's only "always open app"...
Excellent app! When coupled with my dynamic mic. Seriously, you will not find an app that records better audio than this on your phone or tablet. Please consider adding 192kbps...
