I’ve been using Files by Google for a couple months now. It’s basically a file manager app that helps you free up space on your phone. Pretty solid if you’re always running out of storage.

Here’s what you can do: easily see how much space you have left, clean out old photos and videos from chat apps, find and delete duplicate files, and clear out app cache. And there’s also an option to back up your files to the cloud, which is handy for saving space on your device.

Look, if you’re always struggling with storage on your Android phone, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the search could be a bit better and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out.

So here's my take on Files by Google. I've tried a bunch of file manager and storage cleaning apps, and this one's pretty solid. It's super easy to use and does a great job at freeing up space on your phone. The cloud backup feature is really useful too. The only downsides are the occasional annoying ads and the search could be more powerful. But for a free app, it's a no-brainer if you're constantly running out of storage.
