Very nice effects but that's all it does. Like other hue apps it's limited to just what it says and that's it.
Reviews for Firestorm for Hue
Terrible app, no soft flickering, effect of a kid playing with a lightswitch, not worth the 2 bucks...
Love this app. Very easy to understand and configure. Many options and effects. Great
Works but kept insisting to run in the background denied but no clear way to exit in which in asks again and again.
Don't buy! It's awful. Essentially an orange light that flicks on and off in a very fake way. Save yourself the money and get a better free app
the thunderstorm one is so awesome ! I got firestorm as well but it seems unfinished missing sound efx and kinda dont like the way the 2 fire efx .look, the lights flash , dont really remind me of a campfire sorry. the candle one is the only one I like.
I like this app.. I bought it with some trepidation not being really sure if I would like it or not but it works well.. I have a 60 inch electric fireplace with a Philips hue light strip along the base.. and laying on my couch it makes it look like the fireplace is actually acting like a real fireplace by casting an orange flickering glow.. I also have Google homes in my living room and I play crackling fireplace sounds from Spotify to go with the flickering light.. very cool
This is well worth the money. All of my hue bulbs are older generation, so are not compatible with Hue effects. This does the job, and without replacing all my bulbs. Cheers buddy, great job 👍🏻
Would be a 5 star if there was some way to cast or bluetooth the sound effects to an external speaker.
this app is worthless. I run my alexa dot in the living.room to my smart tv, soundbar, light strips etc snd it is way better then this garbage app. and have a fireplace on the screen from youtube with literally the samesound expect it's free. you're better off just changing your color spectrum onhue pro and putting YouTube up on your tv with the fireplace.also on another note the color cycles are Wwwwwway to fast. if I could give this app a 0 I would. #avoid.
