Just rating off my first weeks experience. So far so good. Its convenient for people who may not have workout equipment. The instructors show how to modify workouts to make them easier. The only thing I've needed were dumbells which i do have a pair, but could have easily used something else if i didnt. Workouts are fun and quick and really make you feel it! Love it so far!
Reviews for FitOn Workouts & Fitness Plans
← Back to FitOn Workouts & Fitness PlansI HATE working out. I hate trying to think of workouts and knowing how to do it correctly. This app has changed it for me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE working out now. Its easy to schedule the workouts so i dont forget, save my favorite workouts, and i love that they have different options for workouts. Tons to choose from. Will use this app forever.
I'm IN LOVE with FitOn. The UI is so easy to navigate, i love that i can do just a bite size, 10 minute workout or up the ante to a 20 or 30 minute one. Makes getting excercise in as much as i need/want it easy. There's so much variety in the workouts too! I get bored easily having a set workout routine and this helps keep it fun and interesting. All kinds of lessons, for all kinds of workouts, at all levels, minimal or no equipement required. Just.. 😍😍😍 THANK YOU 💪
This is the best workout app ever! Heck the best app ever! Well done! One thing is I wish they would allow a filter by time. Sometimes I just have 10 minutes and I want to see what's available. Sometimes I have 30 + minutes what are my options? Also I wish they had a filter by equipment: bands, weights, or no equipment needed.
Its a great way to exercise! Wherever you are coming from, the app helps get you from where you are to where you want to be - health wise. Streaming is great and clear, and I love how it creates a plan around MY schedule! Highly recommend if you're looking for a way to exercise more (with your favorite types of workouts, might I add), and trying to live a healthier life.
I love the workouts and trainers! However, the Roku app's search functionality needs improvement. When searching for specific workouts by title, they often don't appear, even with correct spelling. Searching by category, trainer, etc., also doesn't yield results. I hope you can enhance the search feature to make it easier to find specific workouts. Thank you!
Great workout app. I have downloaded other workout apps over the years but could never get into them. This one really appealed to me, so I was determined to use it and I'm glad I did. Great variety of workout videos. I bought the premium version because I saw people say you needed that to cast to a TV. It was only $30 for a year so I found it quite worth the money. Thanks for a fantastic app that is getting me off the couch!
Variety of quality exercises and training styles available, means you can get what you need and in a length of time that works for you. The thing holding me back from truly reccommendeding and committing to a paid plan is the fact that the audio is SO QUIET. Like at times, barely audible with my phone volume all the way. It means you have to constantly look at the phone and rewind to get the timing in right. If they increased the video playback volume, this app would be perfect
I absolutely love this app! I've been searching for a very long time to find a great at home workout video app and could never find one that didn't cost a lot of money. This app has the workout videos with great directions on how to do each move, you can also set up a program to help you either lose weight or build more muscle (whatever your body goals are) and it's FREE!!!! I have been using this app since January and it's the first time that I haven't given up on working out in months!
I absolutely LOVE the huge variety of workouts. It is amazing that they are free. You can even set up a program for yourself under the free plan. I just paid for Pro and I am somewhat disappointed. The meals all look amazing, not overly complicated, but they do not provide macros. I was really hoping to reduce the amount of work on my part for tracking macros, as it can be very time consuming, especially with recipes.
Most free apps are just a ploy to get you to buy the helpful parts of the app, or loaded with commercials. This isn't. Tons of free videos with great instructors. You can set daily reminders, and customize you recommendations. If you decide to add the meal planning option, it's only $30 a YEAR! This is an amazing app.
I initially enjoyed this app's free workouts, but the update of paying a subscription for casting to the TV is a significant drawback. For those who prefer a larger screen while exercising, this is a frustrating limitation. That said, the workouts themselves are engaging, fun, and offer a dynamic variety. If you're willing to pay a subscription, this app could become a valuable addition to your fitness routine.
I really love this app, especially that it's free for public use but that you have the option to subscribe and get added benefits. The one drawback I have about the app is that when I input workouts outside of the app, e.g. an Elliptical workout, a run, etc., it only lets you enter whole numbers for the time, not seconds, e.g. 9min 5 sec etc. I hope that can be added in the future as I have come to like logging my workouts in the app as helps in keeping me motivated and more consistent😌
I really like that the app has endless workout options of all different genres to suit your needs as well as meals and additional wellness information. I really wish the workouts/programs included a breakdown of the specific exercises, like other fitness apps, so those trying to avoid specific moves could know beforehand.
So many workouts don't show up when you search them by name, which is detrimental to a workout. Most exercises and stretches don't start until an entire minute in. I literally have to turn the volume off during most stretches bc the instructors NEVER STOP TALKING and congratulating you on 'making it to the mat' or 'the benefits of stretching', making it frustrating to go back to videos.
App is designed to constantly distract you with all sorts of new stuff getting thrown at you. It's definitely not made for anyone trying to stick to a program and actually finish it in a structured way. It is very difficult to find a program that fits your needs and impossible to resume a program where you left it off. Not to mention, there are zero programs for anyone with access to full gym equipment.
This is a decent app for a free version, but I was disappointed when I paid for it. I didn't know it wouldn't work with my devices until after I paid for it. It insinuated that it would connect to my TV, and it did not. It also says it connects to your Fitbit, but that isn't as true as it should be either. It needs to be the correct Fitbit, not the app and not many devices.
I love the app and even signed up for pro so I could cast to my tv. It is affordable and customizable. I did take 2 stars away because it still is not able to connect to my Samsung watch which means that most of my value are not accurate since I don't always remember to grab my phone. When I try to connect my watch, it leads me to an app that is not compatible with any Samsung device I own.
One of the best (paid) fitness apps that I've tried. I can't speak to the free version, but at 30 USD a year, it's a steal. The one thing about the app that drives me nuts however, is that if you start a program on any day but a Monday, it doesn't allow you to access all the workouts for the week. (i.e., starting on a Wednesday won't allow you to access 2 of that week's workouts). Why this is a feature, I have no idea, and I really wish they'd change this. Otherwise, love it.
The free version of this app is fantastic. The paid version is phenomenal! There are a ton of effective workouts for all fitness levels. The instructors are great. They also have a meal plan and huge recipe section that puts Noom to shame. All for only $29/year! I'm very happy with this purchase and will gladly renew. One suggestion, though. There's an option to favorite in both places. It would be great if you could also add something like "Interested" so you don't lose it in the content.
