If you're a masochist, love to throw money away and thoroughly enjoy frustration, this product is perfect for you!! Sensor does not sync with app despite going through the troubleshooting check list that comes up. Reach out to "customer support" and tell them none of the troubleshooting steps worked. They take days to a week to reply, only to suggest a troubleshooting step from their list that you already went through prior to asking for help and telling them u tried each step with no avail.

A total waste of money! I found out after I used the device that there were a number of features which were not available for my car, shame that wasn't mentioned before I bought the device. All I received was a sorry. Many times I contacted support about error messages etc., yet they continued to address a previous issue which I had to explain each time had been resolved already (Google Pay re subscription). In one of the driving reports I received a major alert FIXD said it was "Electronic Throttle Control, Major Driving Impact", which we found out was due to the fuel cap being left open, so as one can imagine I was at the time extremely worried! They also responded saying "currently we do not have your vehicle's codes on our database"! So why when I filled out my car's info I was able to then purchase the device still?!! They didn't offer or respond when I asked for my money back after numerous requests, they just kept stringing me along. I would like to add also.... I was conned into paying $50 for 2, they make their money on the subscription which I subscribed to initially for the free trial, had problems with Google trying to cancel. The device offers very little without the the subscription!

This sounded great...at 1st. But it's not very accurate. When I tried to cancel my Automatic Renewal (which I was required to have), I had to go around my hiney to get to my elbow in order to do so. It's taken me 3 days to find out how. But I finally did. I was forced to download the FIXD app before I could cancel. But finding that out was near impossible! It's easier to just go to an Auto Suplly Shop and get them to do it. Most have these devices & don't charge you.

This worked the first time I plugged it into my car. I removed it and when I plugged it back in the following day it didn't work and it's never worked again. What's more, I had to sign up for their "Premium" offer with no option the first time just to access the app. They give you a 1 week trial period where you can cancel before being billed, but since the app won't detect the device now, I have no way of accessing my account to cancel "Premium", even by going to their website. Plain junk.

Scant get it to work I have tried everything in the app and it won't connect. Cell signal good Bluetooth on. Blue light flashing when plugged in. The video says it will ask you for the number on a sticker when you first setup the app it didn't. This has been the biggest waste of money. I'm glad I got it at special price that way not too much money was wasted

Doesn't work. Can't even find the sensor to connect to the app. Even after deleting/updating the app + restarting Bluetooth on my phone, it isn't connecting. ALSO! The "14 day free trial" STARTS once you order... NOT when it arrives. It arrived today on Day 11 of the trial. Make sure you cancel it before you get billed. This is big let down.

ive had my fixd for several years now but I don't think it's working anymore. it constantly reads 'scanning' or that my app needs to be updated but when I click on to update it, it takes me here and it just offers to open the app again. it's frustrating because I really need this device to work right now as my check engine light came on and the device never notified me, which it always did before. (I keep mine plugged in at all times) I don't know if I need to throw it out or what.

It's a scam.... you buy the product and it's not until after the checkout process that they tell you there's a subscription that comes with it. Subscription is $99+tax per year! The cancelation process is very sketchy also. I had to call my credit card company to cancel my credit card just in case. DO NOT buy from these scammers, they are a bunch of crooks. A good and upstanding business is up front with any additional costs, clearly they are not.

doesn't work. got maybe 2 or 3 scans out of it. added to a new vehicle, doesn't find the sensor, tried both Bluetooth settings, 3 or 4 times. waste of money also, didn't realize I was about to be charged for the annual fee until after it was done. would have been nice to get a reminder before being charged for P.O.S program

worked at first. bought in 2018 and the app worked fine for almost 7 yrs, same vehicles, different phones. now, the sensor wont connect. customer service is a joke. they keep telling me to update the app but there is no way to do that on Playstore, its not an option. so i uninstall and reinstall, mo dice. they say turn off other bluetooth units but there are none. they say go to bluetooth classic, not an option on my android phone settings. around and around we go again and again. trash.

WAY overhyped! I know my alternator is bad and not charging my battery, and also have trouble with my CVT. This scanner said everything was fine. I know it's not. It looks like most recommendations are simply based on odometer readings and schedules rather than data-driven. It is a nice little DTC/app combo that provides some convenience as an all-in-one calendar + reader, but otherwise, it provided far less info than my $19 code reader that does not charge $99/year.

The primary purpose of this app is to sell you a premium subscription. There is very little value provided by this app without that premium subscription. My hope was to understand more about the codes modern cars can generate, but you're not going to get far on your own with just the device and the free app. Too bad, as it could have been so much more.

So far all I can say is buyer beware! I purchased this device, due to some reviews and they were offering a 2-week trial of their premium. I received my device yesterday, and they charged me the premium of $106.09 for that service and I hadn't even had the device a day it was just delivered the same day they charged me so they're 2 weeks of a trial is bogus,so beware!!!!

I’ve had this device for over a year, and it has never triggered a single alert. My dashboard has shown maintenance reminders like tire rotation, oil changes, and a couple of other warnings — but when I ran a scan, RIXD didn’t detect anything. I contacted support, and they said the device only picks up major warnings, not routine maintenance alerts. I can’t speak for other car brands, but I can say for sure it doesn’t work well with Mazdas.

This app. is so easy to use. especially for the layman who use it. All the other diagnostic coders are to hard to understand. I used my Fixd without subscribing to a monthly subscription. This is perfect for when the occasion arises when I need it. You get so much more with the subscription, but that's only good if you use it a lot. I don't thanks Fixd.

This application constitutes a deceptive business practice. The initial purchase of the plugin module is followed by a mandatory annual subscription fee of $90, rendering the overall cost exorbitant. I strongly advise against purchasing this module without first considering this significant additional expense. I have elected to purchase a handheld scanner with a one-year subscription instead of incurring the ongoing cost of the plugin module.

Deceptive and/or Misleading sales hype; and they don't clearly state that you will be automatically signed up for the subscription. Additionally, the company keep trying to deduct money from my account for $99.00; after I called last year and cancelled the subscription and asked for a refund $99.00, which I didn't received. And today I noticed they are trying to deduct $99.00 again from my bank account!!! Ridiculous, make it make sense!

Anxiously awaited the FIXD device. First day I got it, I scanned two vehicles; both with problems. One of the vehicles was in pretty bad shape. Busted AC, needed new brakes and rotors, and other problems. The scanner said, "No problems detected!" for both vehicles. Also it looks like the app was designed to be as confusing and non accommodating as possible. You will find out it's like that because they're hiding that they're advertising a handful of third party businesses. DO NOT BUY!

UPDATE The app doesn't remember my scans. I've had a couple of issues with my car, app told me the codes. Going back into history it says no history on the vehicle. Also says my mileage is WAY over actual mileage. Also, there are no mechanics in my area and no prices for fixes. So like 1/2 the app is useless. Shows description of code AND lets you clear the code, I didn't because I knew it needed to go in for service, but you could clear it if you wanted. Been using it for over 2 years

It worked the first time I used it. Now it refuses to scan. I can see the device via Bluetooth just fine, but the "scan" button just spins then...nothing. So if you buy one of these, do not subscribe. They will take your $99 and run, claiming they "cannot locate a purchase of the app" when you provide the Google Play store receipt. It's been months now and I have no working FIXD scanner and no refund.
