So here's my take on Flashcal+. I've tested a bunch of car mod apps and this one's pretty solid. It's got all the core features you need to make sure your speedometer is accurate after changing wheels or gears. The UI isn't the slickest but it's functional. Beats having to take it to the shop every time. Overall, it's a handy tool if you're into Jeep mods, but it's not gonna blow you away. Definitely worth a download if you need the functionality.

Pros

  • Tons of customization options for your Jeep's speedo
  • TPMS on/off is a nice extra feature
  • Free to use, no paywalls or in-app purchases
  • Works with both Wranglers and Gladiators

Cons

  • UI is a little basic and clunky at times
  • Didn't always sync properly with my vehicle
  • Gets the job done but nothing super fancy

Description

Been using Flashcal+ for a couple months now. It’s basically a speedo calibration app for Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators. Pretty solid if you’re into modding your off-road vehicle.

Here’s what you do: you can adjust your tire size and gear ratios, and it’ll recalibrate your speedometer so it reads accurately. And there’s also a TPMS on/off feature – took me a while to figure that one out but it’s useful. And you can see your true speed, not just what the dash is telling you.

Look, if you’re into tricking out your Jeep, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI is a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to make sure your speedo is dialed in, especially if you’ve lifted your rig or put on bigger tires.

*UPDATED*: Finally was able to get into the app after trying on 3 different phones. Support wasn't much help. All they said was "it works fine on my phone." Finally...
