The best Greek app on the market! Not only functionally the best, but also the best people to work with. When the old app had issues, Danny was very prompt in emailing me back with a solution. Definitely worth the price.
Even after the update on 1/11/20 I still can't open the app because it crashes right away every time. This app was such a blessing during my intro to Greek class but my intermediate Greek class starts in 2 weeks and it no longer works, help!!! I have Android 11 on a Google pixel 3a.
I'm quite pleased with this app, as I bought it especially for the NT flashcard feature. One thing that could make it better is to do the NT flashcards by pericope instead of by chapter to be more manageable.
Danny Zacharias, quickly responds to any issues that affects this app, even if it's beyond his limitations. I personally have been using this app for about a year. I don't know how I could get through Greek with 2 full time jobs without this app available to me 24/7 on my phone. I wouldn't mind seeing more technology used for learning biblical languages in the near future.
I really like this app, but as others have said, settings should be stored from one session to the next. When I have a spare moment, it would be helpful to pull out my phone and review vocabulary without having to redo the settings. Otherwise, great app!
App works but I can't get the slides to loop by selecting loop :/ Defeats the purpose as I can't just leave my phone in my pocket and listen. 5 stars if loop can be made to function. Update - As of 9/17/19 update, the app force closes upon launching a slide show. Samsung A50 user - As of 9/20/19 UK update, the app now functions again. Thank You!!
I am a MDiv student and have used this app for a long time now. It's great to help you memorize your greek vocab. Even though it's been a long time it's always good to go back and review. Hearing and seeing the words helped me a lot. I would recommend this app for those first year greek students and others trying to learn Greek vocabulary words.
This app has been extremely helpful with my Greek class. I haven't checked all the books since we are using Mounce. However, I wish the alphabet was included and the full paradigms for the 1st and 2nd declension nouns from page 57 and the common verb from page 72 and include them in the vocabulary. Overall, great app.
This is by far the best app available for learning Greek vocabulary. Well worth paying a few bucks for. I especially like the function of going to a specific chapter in the NT. After I memorize all or most of the words I can then much more easily read the NT chapter in Greek. An extremely helpful tool. It makes learning fun.
Excellent app use it for study everyday. I do fine having the audio pronunciations helps alot with speed of learning. I hope the author will update and add more audio to his app. The audio pronunciations makes it the best one out there. I've tried all of them. Thank
