So here's my honest take on Flatify: Household & Chores. I've tested a bunch of household management apps and this one's pretty solid. And the chore scheduling and expense tracking features work well, and I like how it helps keep the whole household organized. The interface is a little basic, but it gets the job done. For a free app, it's honestly one of the better ones I've tried in this category.

Pros

  • Helps keep your household organized with cleaning schedules, shopping lists, and shared expenses
  • Group chat and polls make it easy to coordinate with roommates or family
  • Free to use, no need to pay for premium features
  • Tracks chore completion and awards points, adds some friendly competition
  • Integrates with PayPal for easy repayment of shared costs

Cons

  • Calendar feature is a bit limited, could use more scheduling options
  • Interface is a little dated and can be clunky at times
  • Notifications can be spammy if you don't tweak the settings
  • Might be overkill for small households, works best with 3+ people

Description

I’ve been using Flatify: Household & Chores for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you and your roommates or family keep track of cleaning schedules, shopping lists, and shared expenses. Pretty solid app if you’re into managing your home life.

Here’s what you do: you can create cleaning checklists, assign chores to different people, and even earn points for completing tasks. There’s also a built-in shopping list that automatically tracks what you owe each other. And the group chat feature is pretty cool – you can use it to coordinate schedules and vote on things.

Look, if you’re living with roommates or a family, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the calendar could use some more features, and the interface can be a little clunky at times. But overall it does the job and helps keep everyone on the same page. Worth checking out.

I like the app but it drives me a bit batty that you can't check off the subtasks. I had to create a sublist on another app to do this....
