this app is as fake as nevermet. a lot of the profiles use the same pics. they all seem to be bots that create good conversations. if you add them on discord and suggest a voice or video chat the bot will make up some excuse or stop replying and avoid it all together. do yourself a favor and skip this app.
Reviews for Flirtual - VR Dating App
← Back to Flirtual - VR Dating AppIt's decent but some buttons aren't responsive such as the skip button when you tap it and gets stuck when going through profiles and there shouldn't be a premium option just to see who likes you...it defeats the purpose of the whole app experience. App says nothing about in-app purchases but clearly there is..
OG user here from 2018. Been enjoying the experiences of using it, even if I mostly made friends, which is totally okie! In general, along the progress along the way - I find it beautiful of how much they had grown! Keep on keeping on, tanksuu su much on keep on believing and everything u do! < 3
Really enjoy the app! However it can be really buggy and the fact it relies on a browser instead of an app shows it needs much work! Some message errors are really annoying and do tend to keep me from sending messages sometimes. But overall I greatly enjoy such an app dedicated to VR!
I'm trying to verify my account, and it keeps saying invalid, so I used the like in the emails, and it's still saying invalid, idk what to do at this point
I like the concept of this app, but its integration is beyond frustrating. I've never seen a dating app so regularly "down for maintenance" and prone to painfully slow load times. It often logs everyone out, and trying to log back in is terrible because it tries opening discord in your browser instead of just using the app directly. Uploading photos felt like I was using dial up internet from the 90s. It also often forgets to send you notifications so you just have to keep checking the app
through out my time on this garbage app I haven't matched with not one person the only time I would and after I literally just say hi how are you to them and they never respond again I don't recommend this to anyone
Terrible app. Moderation will ban normal people but keep pedophiles on the app no problem. I got banned while I was asleep for "ban evasion", after creating my first account. Not the only one that's had this problem, either.
Broken matchmaking. For some reason, the system considers pronouns as gender. I've set that I'm looking for a woman, and I'm shown profiles of men tagged she/her. I've seen profiles tagged with woman, who then claim to be a femboy in their bio. You are shown people who you don't have anything in common with, including language. You even are shown people who are taken and/or aren't looking to date. Worse of all, free users can only see a limited amount of profiles per day. It's been over a year.
Well for starters the app just makes u pay like 15 dollars or more depending who likes u or not, plus notification if someone message u. Actually it's a scam because it say unlimited skips plus the person who likes u well we people who dont have the amount of revenue per month would pay 15 dollars a month just for u to related to that person u like as a individual, for me as a beginner app developer I'll charge .99 dollars a month for the notification's and the amount of usernames that likes you
I can't access nothing, opens up, I do the my thing. I got a few matches and when I wanna see them, I click on the logo and does nothing. Close the app, open it my notification of my matches gone, still can't access my matches. And then I can't access anything else, no profile, no setting. Nothing
The idea itself is great, the VRChat community needed something like this. The execution of the app itself however is a bit lacking, it is very buggy (such as when editing tags and your bio). Honestly I don't see much difference from using the mobile version of the website and this app, so save yourself some device space and just use the website.
Firstly there is no benefit to downloading the app, doing so runs the website through your browser, just isolated from your other tabs. UI is pleasant to look at (with the exception of the messaging UI) but feels clunky to use since it's loading a different page for just about everything. Lastly it's heavily limited by an extreme lack of people you can match with each day without spending money Promising concept that simply needs more polish.
Everything seemed very slow and unresponsive i.e. was looking through homies tab and it would take up to 15 seconds to load another profile (I know 15 seconds isn't that Long but that time adds up) also pretty sure most of the people on here are guys so just a heads up. I don't think there are very many people using this anyway so I think just talking to people in vrc or other social vr games might just be better.. edit: I can't message anyone at all.. like it just straight up won't let me talk
Editing my review to add a star, after a few days of being down they have a new visually appealing interface. The app overall is easier to use and takes less time to load. However, I have had a lot of days where I'll go on to use my daily matches just to not have any. Also homies use to be unlimited but now are limited? If you fix these problems plus a few more and maybe up the daily matches than the app is on its way to being THE app for vr meeting
The UI is a bit clunky for me. it seems it's just the website in the app. I can't get past the login screen because when you click it, it presses something else across the screen. The app is okay. Personally, I don't like how you can't see multiple profiles at once, and it's similar to tender with the swip thing. The whole paying fee to see matches is kind of annoying, but oh well.
It is pretty easy to use, but that's not due to any user optimization. Only have 4 options to pick from when you open the app. Profile, Matches, Homies, and Messages. No way of searching, it's all automated matchmaking. If you have a mutual like with anyone, have to buy membership to find out or wait for them to message you. Meaning someone in the exchange has to be a premium member. Gives us the option of putting our discords in, but you don't see anyone else's unless they put it in profile.
This app is getting better and has a much better UI bit you have to touch twice for the choice you have made (eg "love" someone's profile). Also I'm disappointed that I'm pushed to pay for premium for more functionality rather than waiting 24 hours for my lists to refresh. Also if you maxed out one of your daily lists for the day you can't do the other list until the timer is up.
Long review ahead, but here's the TL;DR: Pretty mid app. The UI and interface is generally nice, its vibrant and eye catching! And the addition of the "Homie button" which let's you search for friends rather then dates is a great idea. But that's about as far as the good things go, besides the profiles of people. The fact your limited on how many profiles you can view is just...a bad integration. Pushing people to pay to see more is..EA behavior honestly. Apps like these shouldn't have that.
Made an account last night. Set it all up with pictures, a nice bio, all the tags. This morning it doesn't let me log on. Says my email doesn't have an account (even though I did the email confirmation). Can't find any info about what happened. I've never had this experience with a similar app and am very dissapointed. Turns out it just didn't save my email...
