Reviews for Flo Ovulation & Period Tracker

App was great for helping me conceive in 1 cycle, but after it went all "pay me" it got really annoying. I can't even turn off certain notifications. I have to shut them ALL off or be bothered with random "get this premium feature" notifications when I only want to get my "drink water" reminders. The premium features aren't worth the cost.

It's nice to be able to track my period but instead of grabbing a pen and paper to do that I downloaded this because with how much is in the app I thought there would be more for free then just a period calendar. I expected understand and insights, and yet everything little thing I clicked on I had to pay for. The thing is, is that I would have paid for it if there was a bit more for free. This app wasn't created to help it was created for self purposes. nothing on here to help is for free.

Great for period tracking. Before pregnancy 5 star. Postpartum, more like a 1 star app. Now it seems the app is struggling. The calendar knows I was pregnant but does not take into account postpartum or breastfeeding. Just wish there was an option to put in breastfeeding and postpartum, so it's not constantly trying to tell me something is wrong with my cycle.

I have used this app for a couple months now, and I hate it. It is too much, and I don't mean the price. The constant pop up asking how I'm doing or to dive deeper into a symptom I logged. I found myself dreading going in to the app every day. I was hoping that once it knew me a little better, it would be less annoying. It did not get less annoying. The logging portion of the app is good, which is why it earned 2 stars instead of 1. But it is way too bloated for me.

it's nice to not have to count everything and some tips are cool but I wished that the app would state what phase I am in so it's more clear. not just the color coding. I am less interested in pregnancy related stuff because I am a lesbian. Though I get it's still good to have that in case something were to happen (which sucks that's something women have to worry about). Do those who have had the app for longer, are the phases easier to notice on this app?

Yet another app that has succumbed to the "hide all of our features behind monthly/yearly plans" before you can even actually use the app. They've got it set up that almost everything you click on will prompt a stupid pop-up wanting you to pay for a plan. The only thing you can do without paying is simply track your period. At that point, just use a calendar on your phone and set it to monthly & notif reminders. This app will do you no good unless you want to fork out more $ to greedy app devs

I've been using Flo for 5+ years, and it has been mostly great. Flo can predict my period often down to the day, and is helpful for tracking ovulation. Unfortunately in more recent years, they have progressively gotten rid of a lot of the free features that used to be included (such as evaluation chats, and articles), that now you have to pay for premium to use. It feels like everything that would be helpful to use to learn more about your cycle, they want you to have premium to access.

This app is awesome in so many ways, but the partner side of it is pretty limited. My rating would be higher if there was a way for the main account to opt in to let their partner see their daily check in results (symptoms, mood, etc.). Even if this was just a pro feature, it'd make sense, but as it is now, there isn't much value in the pro subscription from the non-tracker's side!

I just signed up for my free trial on the 1st and I'm beyond happy with the app! The amount of information it gives is amazing! So much to see! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the monthly price. If it were 20 bucks a month, fine but $30+?? I would LOVE to use this app regularly but I really can't afford that. I will continue to use free features after my trial! Thanks for the awesome app for us ladies! Please please consider lowering that price!

I just started using this app and I love it, however, if I wanna do something I have to pay, or pay the subscription I can't access anything without something popping up as in "yearly subscription", and I can't start a free trial, and I feel that it's too much, because I'm just a young girl, and asking my parents to PAY for my period tracker app, is just unnecessary. If this is something that can be taken off and just free to use I would love to learn more about this app!!. Tank you!

This is a great app to keep track of your period and when to expect it next month, but other services they provide are behind a $8/month or $40/year. The only thing I find annoying is that they are constantly trying to get you to buy said premiums like a yearly and birthday discount; flo for partner; a discount for any particular service; etc... and the only contraceptive tracker is for the pill. TL:DR good enough, detailed tracker in app, but other services behind monthly/yearly pay wall.

Paid content is good, but the free version has little info. After about 3 years of paying I switched to the free version since I mainly use the app to track my cycle now. I realized the free version doesn't have a lot of the features it used to have. Also, I recently paid for Flo's weight management guide and never received an email. I contacted customer service and they did not provide any information on how to access the content. Customer service stated I'd received an email. Never found it.

Some of the couples quizzes and information are kinda nice but as a period tracker couple sharing app it's terrible. She puts all her information in in detail and I get practically none of that information on my side even though that was our intention. There is no setting to change it either, it's locked away. I would understand if it was a privacy thing for some couples but it should be an option in her settings not locked away for everyone.

Incredibly useful for tracking periods, as it adjusts to changes. I wish we could turn off, or skip parts of, the bot chat stuff. Its programming/information is too general and ultimately restrictive. I also would like more symptom options, even just an add your own that you can select again as needed. Thanks for the app!

The only reason I still use this app is because it's been my tracking app for the last 8 years now. They keep taking away free features and making them only available with the paid subscription. I'm now pregnant again for the third time and now it won't even tell me anything other than how far along I am. Any insight it offers is no longer free! I have a feeling soon it won't even be free to use it at all. I would switch if it were easy to export my data into another app, but it's not.

I loved this app, it was accurate and it allowed me to track my periods as well as my ovulation dates AND allowed me to monitor any abnormalities and as someone who has always had very irregular periods it was great. However now they want me to pay for all the things that made it great and I can no longer monitor for any issues like I used to without paying?! As women we are already nickel and dimed for items like pads and I might as well just go back to using a calendar if all I get is tracking

Great app for adults. There's a lot of explicit material that goes beyond simply educational content, so I wouldn't feel comfortable with my daughters using the app until they were much older. Also, even if you use the same log in, changing phones will cause all your data to disappear!!!! I was devastated to say the least when my app showed I was logged in but all my menstrual history was gone on my new phone. Be warned!

I've had this app for about 5 years and really just used it to track my periods, which it is decent for. But over time, more and more features have been locked behind a paywall and I got very annoyed at the pop-ups telling me to buy a plan. The final straw was a bug that kept putting my symptoms on one day and my flow on the next, despite logging both on the same day. I just don't see the point in continuing to use an annoying and buggy app. I plan on tracking my periods on paper now.

Downloaded the app, only to be asked 3 million questions (some that had nothing to do with tracking ovulation), and then had to press some button on the screen for several seconds to "commit" to the app (super corny and annoying), only to then be told I had to pay yearly or monthly. The process is very tedious and frustrating. It doesn't matter what you click on on the app, if you haven't paid, you can't read anything. Frustrating and annoying experience. Uninstalling.

Kinda lame you have to set a payment option for automatic withdrawal after the 7 day trial rather than choosing if or when I want to purchase the premium.. I selected the cheapest option for when the week trial was up.. But it still charged me 40+ dollars... Definitely not using this app. Their reply to my review didn't address my concern or issue I had.. Probably a copy paste script...
