Reviews for FloatMe: Fast Cash Advance App

← Back to FloatMe: Fast Cash Advance App

This app only gives u an advance of $20. And even if u pay on time, they might tell u the next time they can't spot you anything. Kinda of a waste of time, especially if you need a bigger advance. Also, after u pay it off, maybe like once or twice, and they don't want to give an advance anymore, it will start saying login authentication error. So don't believe the 5 star reviews. I wish I would've paid attention to the reviews that were telling the truth.

This app is terrible. I was only able to float $10 and I've had it for a year and a half. Finally they bumped me to $30 but I can still never get floats. I've never had and overdrafts in my account, I get paid every two weeks, nothing is ever in bad standing but every now and then I just need a little for gas or groceries. Customer service is also terrible.

First time using it ease of use: 5/5 -was able to get into it quick, got them to advance me in less than 5 minutes from setting up an account Amount advanced: 3/5 -was only able to get 20 dollars, put of what looks to be a max of 50. Every little bit helps but it is not significant enough to make a big difference most of the time. The good thing is that you won't get stuck in a cycle if borrowing a hundred or more dollars, to pay it back on payday, only to need to borrow it again.

The app does not update in realtime. Not once has it been correct on the balance of my checking account. If u add up the fees and subscription fee. Which is now 2.99. and the fact that it'll float you 20 for a 4 dollar fee due the next day. You do the numbers. That's an outrageous interest rate. I cancelled my account and to keep from getting charged from them, like one of the reviews, I'm just going straight to the bank and putting a block on anything coming from this place.

I just want to pay back! After setup of my information on the app, they approved me for a $20 advance. The funds were immediately sent and we're accessible immediately for a small fee. The issue I have had was that I went in to pay the 20 + fee and the app said my bank account was not detected in which gives the option to "add another bank" "different bank". I cannot go any further as this just keeps bringing right back to the log in page. Customer service still has no response!

Literally a scam. They make you pay a $5 monthly fee just to tell you that they won't advance you anything, meaning they collect a fee to provide you with no service. Garbage. No one downloads an app for advances just to be told to wait several days, speed is obviously important in this service, I don't know why that needs to be stated. Absolutely useless. Their response has nothing to do with the problem here. The issue is not the fee, the issue is that they provide zero service for the fee.

The app is very neatly designed, easy to use, easy to navigate and user friendly. The app could definitely use some improvements as it is extremely similar to other apps out there. There is really not a lot that sets this app apart from all of the others. FloatMe uses a Third Party to connect your bank account & does not give an option to manually add your bank account information, making it impossible to add all bank accounts & making the app unusable for many people.

Was great at first. now it always says it can't float me because I might be at risk for overdrafting my account. people tend to only use these types of apps when they need a little money before payday. if I overdraft the payment is still repaid on my payday. if you're no longer offering a float to the only people who are actually going to use it I can't imagine any of those people will continue using it. financially secure people don't use these apps.

There's no point in having a subscription if you can ask for a "float". Used 3 times in the past in between paydays for emergencies, it was helpful but after the last payment (on time) it's been unavailable for a while now. While I appreciate the small cash advances. I don't see the point of having it if I can't use it. Edit: Doesn't give a reason why cash advance opt is unavalible

Money & Time Well Wasted! Deceptive Practices! This app makes tells you that you "may" qualify for a float up to "$$$" all that all you have to do is connect ALL bank info & pay $4.99 but they will not give you that money immediately, if at all and you cannot disconnect your bank info even after canceling. I have contacted support which at this point, I don't believe there is any. I haven't heard back. There a lot of better apps out there, I would recommend using.

Started out ok, then after about 6 months and no change to my credit report, banking information or income, I stopped getting approved for floats. they also started charging a fee for instant floats. After months of still paying the monthly fee I decided to cancel. They continued to try to charge the fee but I had to replace my debit card due to damage so the charge never went through. 2 months before the chargers finally stopped. Brigit app is still going strong with no issues or added fees,

The worst one so far. I had to try multiple times to get linked, and you can only link one bank account. My pays are split between two accounts to make accounting easier, but you can only link one. While I'm able to get 50-100 on other apps right away, this one won't even give me 20. The only reason not one star is they didn't take the fee money right away, so they let you at least try first.

This app started out good but, it's irritating now. I got three $20 advances, paid them back with the fee and the monthly fee. Went to get another advance and was told I wasn't approved. Came back the next pay period still the same thing and was still getting the monthly fee taken out. The app doesn't update with your bank and instead tried to get me to "play games" or do surveys to get less than a dollar!

It works okay. When it works. The problem is it doesn't work very often. Everything is based on their automated system, so plenty of times you'll be paying a membership fee, yet unable to float. I don't use it often but on the off times I do need it, I find it doesn't work. It won't tell you why it won't work, as even if you meet all the requirements you will still be unable to. and support just sends you an automated email. App seems closer to a scam than a resource.

Everything was good for months and now all of a sudden it's not allowing me to do a float. It keeps saying running some number but this has been like this for over a month now. I have never been late repaying nor was this ever an issue before but they took my monthly subscription but I can do anything else. I no longer have use for the service if I can't get an advancement. That's the sole purpose of having the subscription.

This is the worst advance app I have ever used I have had several 20$ and 50$ floats and paid them all back. I have never used it often just a handful of times over a year or more and when you really need it they tell you that you aren't eligible for a float. I could understand if I was advancing over and over every week but that hasn't been the case at all. if you can't use it when you need it, what's the point in having it???? but you better bet they still charge you a fee. wish I give 0 stars

I'm not going to pay a subscription fee just to find out I'm not eligible. Maybe you should let members know before they waste the money. update: finally got the app to work, but this is the worst cash advance app there is. they take you subscription fee, and constantly tell you they can't give you an advance. I've used other ones before and never had a problem getting an advance. This app seems more like a scam to get fees while never providing you with anything.

I clearly selected checks that get deposited every week into my bank account which they have access to and get an email stating "Can't verify income" This app is a joke. Also, I shouldn't have to type out a lengthy message as to why I want to cancel my subscription or "contact" them which can take up to 48 hours. It's very misleading when searching in the app how to cancel the subscription to just "click" the cancel button at the bottom but that leads you only to being forced to contact them.

I'm still be charged for a monthly membership that I canceled-30 minutes into a 3 day free trial-because the app was unavailable for me. I couldn't tell you what features this app has or doesn't. Or if the Float feature even exists. All the page were extremely blurred, couldn't see anything which was why I canceled so early into the free trial. That was last year. My bank account is STILL BEING CHARGED for the monthly membership that I had canceled. And app/features are still unable to access.

I signed up and was charged the membership fee. I tried to make my first withdrawal of $20, which is the max you are allowed starting out. I kept getting denied, and customer support said it's because of data points and stuff that the system determines your eligibility. Still can not withdraw any amount, but they didn't have any issue withdrawaling my membership fee so I'm paying for a service I can't use.
