I would rate this app 0 stars. There is no audio on calls so you can't hear them and they can't hear you. There are several options in the settings to try to fix this issue but they don't work ( this shows you there is a major flaw in the apps call audio/recieving because they have several useless fixes in settings). I put up a complaint ticket without any response yet so customer service is extremely bad. I wasted about $10 dollars on this app plain and simple. Do not buy this app it's garbage.

I just downloaded the app and got a number. However, all attempts at calling the chosen number (including from overseas) have been unsuccessful so far. Additionally, the web link provided to contact the support team to resolve my issue wouldn't load. Not at all impressed!

Initially promising, but I've had consistent issues with connections, despite excellent wifi and cell service. The app is glitchy and occasionally freezes mid-call, and there is often issues with call audio quality. The final and major issue for me was an important call being dropped due to Fongo's connection issues, which caused significant delays in a time-sensitive and issue. Do not recommend for anyone looking for reliable connection or quality.

When I first arrived in Canada, I can only find this world edition here to install. A year later I changed from android to iOS, I can’t find this version in the App Store though I am still in Canada. As suggested by other reviewers, fongo Mobil and fongo world edition are totally different. This version is not free, and the worse is that even I paid it, I can’t use it anymore in another mobile.

Great app, working really good, simple and easy to setup. Voice quality is really nice and call connects super fast. Not too pricey, in fact cheaper than an actual SIM. Very seamless and scam or spam proof. Ps. Calls from and to Indian numbers won't work, probably to limit scams which i really liked about Fongo. Making and receiving calls from Canada number works perfectly fine. Try calling Fongo's echo test number.

I contacted the support link provided in one of the older comments and got quick reply. Problem solved. I am now logged in and have called 5 numbers (2 international) with no fuss. Thank you! I've been using the older fongo and I love it. I subscribed to this app yesterday and I couldn't sign in after many tries. Please resolve admin.

Used during quarantine. Did NOT purchase credits at all. I have since deleted the App but have recently received a notice that I will be charged $1/month because I have $0.01 credit. I never purchased this credit and there is not even a way for me to use it as it is only 1c and I am not buying more. I no longer need this App but now will have to remember to make a call within Canada every 90 days so I don't get charged every month. Have a ticket #550463 with no help received! An absolute scam!

So far it's working good, but looking at the comments, I am really scared about what if the app stops working or something like that ? I really don't want to change numbers now since I have applied for jobs using that. I just really pray everything goes well and the app keeps working properly as it is working right now.

The connection was horrible, and no, it was not due to my wifi bcuz all my other apps works fine. I did not even use the service for a full week, I had it for 4 days, I want a refund!

Worked well during the first few months but after that I wasn't getting any audio on the calls. Contacted support and they forwarded some general steps to resolve the issue. I followed those steps but it did not resolve the issue. Contacted support again but it has been weeks and I haven't yet received a reply.

Worst experience and it's a total waste of money. I need refund. I tried to register multiple times by clicking on Register button but it always lands to a blank page. I applied for refund but they won't provide a refund for this purchase because it doesn't meet their policy. This is utter nonsense. Even free calling apps are better than this paid app.

It's a scam app. They disable your account after you pay. Also I paid for an app and I was NOT getting any messages from my bank and others for this whole time! And then you learn you have to pay additionally for getting important messages like from your bank etc. I missed a lot of important messages. Don't waste your money and time, just buy a regular sim card

It doesn't let me log in. even after I changed my password, it tells me to update to the latest version, which of course I downloaded already.

I paid for the 6 month text plan but my texts are not delivered. Also, when trying to set up a Telegram account, I noticed the number still is being used. how can I ask for refund?

this is the worst app anyone can install Firstly you purchase the app like it some premium app, then when you sign up it asks you to pay for another package then after paying you will be kicked out of your account for no reason and when you try to login it will say uh oh please install latest update of the app which if you reinstall will still get same error message. hope playstore can stop this con artist disguising as developers

You have to purchase the app, but the registration button does not work. Only works if you have an existing account

worst app ever. I purchased the app, than purchased calling credit and messaging credits. still can't call because calls drop by itself, no message is sending and no message is receiving. total waste of money. at least the Developers should not scam people. low quality service is one thing and total scam is another

Absolute con. As well as costing $8CDN, but identical to the regular app. The message packs cost double what they are in Canada for the identical package. Notwithstanding it doesn't work with Hotmail. Support stopped once I asked for a refund. Will pursue Google Play to get my money back. Can't remotely recommend.

ive had an excellent experience so far in terms of calls. Only had to use Fongo support services once for a sim card while abroad and they responded timely. All answers to possible issues are clearly identified in their FAQ section on the website so its easy to fix any issue you have with the calls. So far so good its been a few months

Scam app!!! 😡😡😡😡 Everything all the users who gave a 1 star rating is exactly my experience. I purchased the app, only to find that the calls keep dropping and calls can't come in. Even the test calls aren't working. What's worse? I uninstall and reinstall only to be told to "reinstall the latest release of the app and try again.", meaning I have been scammed of the purchase fee. Totally worthless app!!! No wonder it's not recommended when you search for calling apps! Blood thieves!!!
