I’ve been using FordPass™ for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you manage your Ford vehicle right from your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do: you can lock, unlock, and even start your car remotely. And there’s also cool stuff like checking your electric vehicle’s charging progress and setting departure times to pre-condition the battery and cabin. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s super useful.
Look, if you own a Ford, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes and the interface is a little outdated. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on FordPass™. I've tested a bunch of car apps and this one's one of the better ones. It's got a ton of useful features that make managing your vehicle a breeze. The remote commands are super convenient and the EV support is a nice bonus. But it's not without its issues - the app can be glitchy at times and the design feels a little dated. Still, if you drive a Ford, this is a pretty solid companion app.

I was forced to update to the latest version today, (6/16/25,) and now the app doesn't work. All I see is a blank screen with two options at the bottom....
The app works great for remote starting my 2024 Ranger, and locking/unlocking the doors, but that's all it does. I have a camper top on my truck and sleep in...
It used to work great. Now it won't autostart my car unless I use my key fob and "lock" the door, then it starts.. which is weird and less than...
