I have enjoyed using this program on the website, where I could download the audio files directly and add it to Anki cards, but to download the files from the app, I have to message the pronunciations to myself. I would really appreciate it if you could add a function to be able to download files directly from the app.
Extremely helpful when learning a new language and being able to pronouce words that may be difficult to nail their pronounciations as a new learner! Definitely would recommend! It helped me pronounce jongen in dutch by hearing several native dutch speakers, both male and female, pronounce this word. Much better than the system computer generated voice that often accompanies apps and language learning softwares!
My name is Francis, I made a purchase of the App on 01/05/2020. It is a good app. My only problem is, I am currently having difficulty. It is not allowing me to sign in and proceed further with my username and password. Please help, am getting frustrated. I have filled up the required fields and don't know why I wouldn't proceed to complete my account.
Very glitchy. Used it a few times and it worked. Then a few days later the search button won't work, can't sign up, the screen will go grey. Tried to uninstall and install again and it didn't seem to fix anything. Online website is much better!
Can't find a way to download the sound files so I can import them into Anki. Also, after initial login, the app refuses to let me log in. No error, I'm sure of the password, it just refuses to let me in. So back to the webbased version for me! Samsung Galaxy S9
The app works great, but sometimes it goes dark and requires you to sign in but gives an error if you try and I need up needing to use the website instead. I like it when it works, but two inconsistent to feel worth paying for the app.
You can't access app's content without letting her to know your exact location. Basically you have to write your address. Without this you are lacking content you already paid for such as saving some words to check them later. It was the purpose of buying this app instead of using it online. I had to register using VPN to maintain some privacy which I didn't wanted to share. It is not right that I had to look for such solution.
The web version has more features like downloading mp3s. Also the app simply doesn't let me submit pronunciations, it is stuck on the Grant Permissions screen even after I already granted permissions. I would stick with the web version solely, even if you're on mobile
Very helpful But would be even better with fingerprint log in, as I don't use the same password for everything, as that's not secure, but can't remember every password for everything, so if it signs me out, when I'm out, (and need it most), I can't use it! Fingerprint sign in please 🙏
I downloaded this some time ago when it was Early Access. I wasn't 100%, but I swore I had placed it on 2 devices & prior to my currrent phone. Sure enough, booted up an old phone, & Forvo! Logged me right in too. I looked over my info, the audio I had uploaded, etc. It was a good app w potential; my frequency dropped when joke & Med Student requests for pronunciation took over. Searching for Forvo to install now - I see $2.99?! I paid... And in kind - I reviewed. Not a download required either!
