The fox chicago app needs to be brought back. fox local app is one of the worst apps ever created due to the fact, there are too many complications. it's not allowing you to do many things that you were able to do and the fox chicago app. It will only allow you to use the app and nothing else, compared to the fox chicago app, you was able to watch the news and still able to do other thing's on the phone same time.

Fox News has always been a good news source but this app interface is so lacking and the app just won't send me any news or breaking news notifications and it is set up both app and device and it's the same way on my other device. my fox5dc app was no problem at all. I have uninstalled it and signed up on Twitter breaking news notifications for my area the app is just no good.

There was nothing wrong with the old app but I was forced to download this disaster. when I try to open this app, it either won't load and says "oops, something broke, other than the news". In the off chance I do get it to load up, its still showing news from the day before or earlier in the day and won't refresh. Im trying to be patient but eventually I won't be and will start using a different news app.

on this app it does not and I repeat it does not show everything that's what's on the TV like it just shows small bits and pieces and I leave it on here only because I like seeing the traffic news other than that I would have already erased it My apologies I love all the cast

Why did we have to change to this app? The previous one worked perfectly! I have an android phone, and this app won't send me notifications. When I watch a video it either cuts off the anchors head, or if I put it on fullscreen and turn it sideways I can see the whole person, but only half of the screen! It's completely black on the right side of the screen, cutting off the right side of the video. It is also only showing me 4 or 5 news items? Not user friendly at all. 🤷‍♀️

Almost an elegant app... Now it's functional, but feels half done. Landscape as default when on a tablet is nice... Except when one exits live viewing (the only way currently is to use the player minimize button) one is greeted with a portrait layout... Also with the latest update the video stream continues when the device home button is pressed, but only as audio... I was expecting to see a pop-up window.... But no. Not sure what the intended outcome is supposed to be.

Go back to the standard app and, more importantly, how articles were written. We don't need an AI synopsis...We clicked on the article to read. My attention span isn't much, but it's enough to read an article without bullet points, breakdowns, and summaries.

I can not share stories from this app, and this isn't like the news app I'm used to. I love my local Fox 35, but this app diminishes my experience in accurate new reporting! Sad!

this app is totally stoopid. half the notifications don't come up, and then when it does open, you can't give your opinion in response. Fox local doesn't care what you have to say. uninstalling.
