The app is so loaded up with garbage that it takes forever to load. When it does load, they have configured in such a way that you can't scroll up without touching on an ad. even when you manage to open an article to read, you get inundated with ads. I've pretty much stopped using it. I like Fox News, but it's just major overkill with the ads.
Fox News program on Android is absolutely terrible! The changes they've made in the last few months requiring logging in when it says my name in the account, Posts fail to load, now coming up slow and line spacing is off when selecting to post. I've deleted and reinstalled, cleared cache, you name it, I've done it. And its not my connection! STILL NOT FIXED
Generally good. but it isn't perfect. For instance, I don't care for the" stories" that are posted as "news", just to get you to click on their adds. I don't like the little tricks they use to make you look at their ads, the hidden or purposely disguised "next" buttons etc. I also don't care for the intentional "sexualalized" content to try to get the clicks...
All of a sudden, way way too many ads popping up. also they are hard to close the ad as they hide the "X" or make you figure out how to get back to the news. also every story seems to have an ad after it and often it's the same 1 or 2 over and over. I like Fox. I don't like the constant barrage of ads. probably have to look for other options like Newsmax.
Used to be good. Now it gives me an " An error occurred. Refresh page and try again" pop up when I click a like or dislike button. Also, why do I have to keep signing up to post? I'm already signed in! Get better IT people to fix it. Update 7/10/25 Still no improvement. Still have to incessantly sign in to post comments. I've Uninstaller and going with the OAN app. See ya, Fox. I'm done
Why so many adds all of a sudden? they make the screen jump around the article as they load. Plus, who wants to deal with the same amount of adds to close so they can read a article in the news as playing a game!? really like the app.....really hate the new pop ups. Won't take long for me to start hunting a better experience.
I can't post in the comments section after I write a comment. the (post prompt) is hidden at the bottom of my screen below the keyboard. it appears as a ghost prompt for lack of better words. I've tried everything. At first I thought the app was not recognizing that I'm using a phone and not a pc. or it wasn't recognizing I have an android and not an iPhone. maybe fox has blocked me from sending comments, but why? one star until the problem is resolved. I'm ready to delete the app. so frustratin
I agree with all the 1 rating reviews. I can't even read the articles because of all the ads and pop-ups. Very frustrating! So I went to using the browser to get Fox News, and it's even worse. Videos start on their own, and all the pop-ups move the screen to an add and I can't even read the article. I'm done with them. They are not in the news business anymore. It's all about advertising and making money. Time to move on.
2 stars for notifications and content. Unfortunately, there's nothing else good to say. Been using the app for many years and it was amazing at first. Now the ads are so big they leave 5 lines of text visible at most. This is such a basic and easy issue to fix.... I refuse to create an account for them to SELL my info so I cannot read all the articles or make comments. Quality and bias of content is also getting just as bad as the competing nutjobs, just in the opposite direction.
Problems with "Failure to load" notice that reboots the app and starts back at the 1st article, was report in February and March, 6 months later and still no improvement. This seems to have gotten worse on some days making it difficult to read other articles and it doesn't matter if I'm at home with a weak 4g signal or at locations where I have a strong 5g signal. I will begin reviewing other news apps to avoid the aggravation.
