Description
Been using FoxBox for a couple months now. It’s basically a compatibility layer that lets you run desktop Firefox on your Android device. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can browse the web, use standard Firefox extensions, manage files, and even access developer tools. There’s also a built-in file manager – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful. And the sound support works well too.
Look, if you’re into running full desktop apps on your phone, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the controls take some getting used to – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on FoxBox. I've tested a bunch of Android productivity apps and this one's pretty solid. The ability to run full desktop Firefox is pretty cool, and I like the file manager and developer tools. But the controls can be a bit finicky, and it's not as polished as the real Firefox app. Still, if you want that full desktop experience on mobile, FoxBox is a decent option.
