Description
Been using Fred TV for a couple months now. It’s basically an open-source IPTV app that’s super fast and simple to use. Pretty solid if you’re into streaming TV shows and movies on the go.
Here’s what you do: you can browse tons of live channels and on-demand content, and there’s even some DVR functionality to record shows. It’s got a clean interface that’s easy to navigate, though it took me a while to figure out some of the more advanced features.
Look, if you’re a cord-cutter who’s tired of paying for cable, you’ll probably like Fred TV. It’s not perfect – the selection can be a bit limited compared to some paid services – but overall it does the job and it’s free. Worth checking out if you want a simple way to watch all your favorite shows without breaking the bank.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Fred TV. I've tested a bunch of IPTV apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The open-source angle is cool - you're not locked into some proprietary platform. In my experience, the app is fast and reliable, and it's got a clean, intuitive interface. The content selection is decent, though not as extensive as some paid services. But hey, you get what you pay for. And the fact that it's free is a huge plus. My only real gripe is that it can get a little repetitive after a while. But if you're looking for a simple, no-frills way to stream live TV, Fred TV is worth a shot.

The best on Linux Is also the best on Android! May you be blessed! No need for a tablet mode as it works better than the flatpak on Chrome OS....
This developer is actively working on this app. There is a Flat pack version for Linux as well. I highly recommend both for IPTV !
It would be nice to have button to switch next channel.
