I love this app!! I got it not too long ago and I already love it! It's a great app really. Sure there are small commercial breaks but they're only like 3 or 4 short adds and they are where adds would be in the TV show or movie. It isnt that often that you are able to get commercial breaks where they would be on an actual TV. I really recommend this app!!
Reviews for FREECABLE© TV App: Shows, News
This is a 5 for Bluestacks, however it doesn't work hardly at all on my small phone, because advertisements popup to websites, which you cannot leave in order to get back to the show. Instead, if you get out of them, they kick you to the front page of the app again, and you have to find the show again, then when you go to play it again, the same ad pops up, and the cycle repeats itself! Plus, it crashes! So I uninstalled it on my phone, but on bluestacks on my computer, it works very well.
INCREDIBLE! I had never watched a movie on my phone before. I was skeptical of these free movie apps I saw ads for. I could kick myself for not trying it sooner. I have just watched three GREAT movies back to back. No ads, no interruptions, no glitches (& I don't have a fancy smart phone). All FREE, and so EASY. I don't know how you guys provide this service for free, but THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH! I'm 67 yrs old, so a bit 'late to the party', but as it turns out> an *old* dog CAN learn new tricks!
The app works ok, but some network connections freeze up forcing a restart of shows, these cannot pause. It would be great to be able to pause them properly. It is great commercials are generally limited. It would be nice if the channels showed more local news & shows, more movie selections would be great, a problem in all apps though., network limitations. Love to see mire networks added too. Otherwise it is a great app.
Although the variety of shows to watch are amazing, there are still bugs with the app. Shows freeze up and won't unfreeze. Pop-up ads make it so you lose your place on the show you're watching. No "continue to watch" option, so it automatically picks up where you last left. For now, I might keep the app. If no improvements are made, I will uninstall and leave my review for others to read.
It works! And the add placements are less anoying than most apts. It's great to have cable and for free. Hopefully, the company makes enough from the adds to continue providing good service. Didn't see a way to type in a title to see if a movie was available or even put in the first letter. That would be nice rather than needing to scroll through all available.
Honestly. Pretty great. Good choices and play is good quality. Only complaint is the constant pop ups and 10x in a row notifications for just about anything when I'm not using it. Periodically it will just go nuts and notify so many times it will take almost a minute before the sound stops. I don't need that draining my battery or getting me attention while I'm at work. Not to mention the reminders to join contests. As a service, I enjoy it, it's free, so I expect to be pestered a bit.
Doesn't save searches, or, channels. You'll get highjacked in several different ways, apparently, systematically. I've been using this app for at least a year, hoping for some fixes. Ads kick you back to the beginning after entering your search, much of the time. Some videos won't allow you to control them. Others, are labeled, "LIVE". Those, you have no control over. Apparently, somebody's playing games, here. Also, app sometimes starts with a startlingly, loud, advertisement.
Click bait app title! It is free until you watch 2-3 episodes of any series. Then it cuts you off and demands that you sign in under a subscription service. The app appears to work fine until you hit the cliff! Also the advertising is over the top. (5) ads every 10 minutes or so. I guess someone has to pay for the service. If the advertising was the only issue, I would not complain. However, the viewer to lured in, with a small portion of the content and then the contracts come out! NOT FREE ÀS ADVERTISED!!!!!!?
Great for finding videos on YouTube. Some programs can only be watched on part of the screen. This app has very little in common with a real television. The ads are necessary, I guess, but are numerous and annoying. No good for watching live channels or sports. But it is good for using up your surplus spare time trying to find what you were hoping to watch.
