Description
Been using the Freenow by Lyft – taxi & more app for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one travel app that lets you book taxis, rent scooters, and even buy public transit tickets. Pretty solid if you’re into getting around the city without your own car.
Here’s what you can do: you can tap to order a taxi and get connected with professional drivers. There’s also bike, scooter and car sharing options – super convenient when you don’t feel like walking. And you can even buy bus/train tickets right in the app, which is a nice bonus.
Look, if you’re in a big city and need reliable transportation options, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the taxi booking can be a bit glitchy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you travel a lot.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more. I've tested a bunch of travel/transportation apps and this one's a pretty solid all-in-one option. The taxi booking works well most of the time and I like having the scooter/bike sharing integrated. The app is easy to use and the features are handy. But it's not without its issues - the taxi booking can be buggy and the UI feels a little outdated. Still, it's one of the better multi-modal transport apps I've used. If you're in a city that has Freenow, it's worth downloading.
