I bought Premium last year and got much from it the first year. I kept the subscription for this year and one month in all my 216k credits were used. although I have free use of Freepik general content it's my own I'd prefer. Now they post I should get Premium+ . 1400 credits for one video is excessive! I had blank downloads. it's a good multiple purpose AI & offers a lot. So I am disappointed. The costs are high. Watch those credit usage very carefully.

They acted like a scammer. I am extremely disappointed for v5 and will not pay again.I paid for the retouch function, but after purchasing (year plan), they removed the retouch function and other useful photo functions.

it's really great to use and the results are fantastic. I've used Photoshop in the past for colorization and repair but this is a lot easier and more intuitive. It is easier if you are detailed in your prompts and know exactly what you want. Freepik is your own little genie editor.

they charged me twice for premium+ with PayPal attempt failed but charged anyway and then my Google play balance and they don't want to resolve my problem im stuck with free plan this is a scam

I got a plan, money deducted, no reflection on my account it's still showing "free" and "get a plan" worst platform for any kind of use.

I paid the amount, but it's a waste, I can't see the pro advantage in the app.its a fraud. Please refund my amount. Please don't download and waste your money.

$144. for a year upfront with no tril or way to preview what to expect, and ive been waiting over 4hrs for a 10 second video to be generated.. 2400 credits to make one video very misleading description. not happy at all so far

This would've gotten a 5-star but for some reason unknown to me, I can't download pictures. Everytime it just shows a pop-up error.. even on the web. Please fix.

It does not work!!! Just paid a month for nothing. It will be impossible to get a refund. And the name "Free" does not refer to pricing, don't get confused you have to pay a month in order to see that it does not work. Server error, server error, server error forever.

Don't waste your money on this app, you will not even know when your credits will run out, it is a big fraud, your credit number gets exhausted very quickly

very bad customer service. I already purchased the subscription via google play and it was a success and it says that my subs active, but when I open the app, my premium subs did not shows. already contact the freepik and google play, they both can not activate my subs and can not refund my money. so no solution at all.

As Of 10/8/25, Now Each Picture I Do Image To Image On, I Get A Server Overloaded Error Now. It Also Eats Up My Credits Too. I've Been Having This Problem Now With This App.

new update makes it go insanely slow, and it denies most edits that you try to make... very disappointing. used to be great someone comment a better alternative app that does the same thing but is actually functional.

Good, but missing many of the features the website has or where the feature exists, additional functionality is missing or abstracted in a way that harms the app rather than streamlines it, if that was the end goal. Eg. Upscale model and AI edit model non-selectable, unsure what is being used. The app has a lot of potential if the UX is improved

beyond disappointed! purchased the premium+, a total waist of money. If your trying to edit photos, try something else, only 1 out of 10 attempts actually provided ANY kind of photo. 9 of 10 photos provided "server overloaded, try again later" message day after day. character creation is so restrictive, you cant prompt an image without getting a warning about NSFW, or worse yet, some creepy message about under age content, contacting them is just as bad, 0, zero, nada, no reply. go elsewhere.

Stupid! It doesn't understand instructions. I tell it to do the right side, it does the left. I change the command to 'right side according to the picture', and it still does the left. What am I supposed to write? And there are so many other instructions this app just doesn't understand. I've tried using different words and styles of writing, and it still gets it wrong. It's a waste of my credits. Also, it's always generating errors. It says it doesn't consume credits, but it still uses them up.

the provided tools are amazing (web browser) the only thing lacking in the app are more tools just like those in the web version. Also the ability to select multiple images to delete instead of doing it one by one, that would be awesome... thanks Freepik team

This app was a major disappointment and I strongly advise others to stay away. I subscribed for a month and received 18k credits, but every single one was wasted. The video quality is extremely poor, trying to create a video of a (dhol) being played was completely unrealistic. There was no rhythm, the drum’s strap disappeared, and the movements did not follow the prompt at all. Freepik is not a charity; users pay expecting value, but the app fails to deliver. Avoid this app if you want quality.

I've only tried out the free version, so the paid version might be better, but the phone app is incredibly buggy. I got sever error messages on even the simplest prompts. The image generator is pretty good, but the UI on the phone app is horrible. Sometimes it will show the image you created, but when you tap on it to expand it or to download it, nothing happens. Overall, it's too frustrating to use. I think it has potential to be better, but it needs a lot more work. There are better options.

5.9/10. Freepik is a decent app! Good for creating images. However, in the last few updates, the app is free to use and user-friendly, but I experienced that now it has become money-hungry, just like what CapCut did. They made AI features, like almost every app feature, limited to use freely, became Pro (premium), and less user-friendly! But overall, it’s decent enough.
