Enjoy the stories so far so good. It kinda isn't good that I can't purchase a membership but other than that. I mean, it is free. You just have to suffer through the commercials, but you can suffer through a many of them and have multiple hours of time, if you're willing Update: I purchased 60 minutes & app took the money, but haven't given me my 60 minutes. ..☹️
Love the books and the easy way to get free minutes. My eyes are bad can't read the books very well. Love the audio books. I listened to them every day. On a fixed income can not afford the subscription for the books. This app so far are the best I have came across so far. Do have whisper FM downloaded but the free minutes adds went up and sometimes there are a limit on the ads to listen for free.
Love the app, but for some reason, the app keeps getting stuck loading the ads and I have to uninstall and re-download the app to fix it, and I don't always have the minutes I had earned when I sign back in. I have had to do this 3 times to finish one book with only 22 chapter's, a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Ugh, it happened again. Not even sure if I want to keep this app now.
I love reading apps, but this one totally confuses me with the rating. The only way to read or listen is to watch advertisements or subscribe. You only get 5 minutes per advertisement and the cost of subscribing is expensive. There's no daily log-in bonus, no reading bonus, no other way to attain counts. Why have this app when there are so many others with significant better subscribing pricing, bonus coins, or opening a chapter by watching just one ad.
The pictures of the books looked really interesting, but wouldn't let me read the description. Then, after only a short, not quite a chapter, I had to watch an ad for only 5 minutes more of reading. But it wouldn't download the ad, so now I can't finish the book. You get one star only because zero stars aren't an option. Fix this disaster, and I would love to reinstall.
Update! Issue has been fixed. This is my new favorite audio book app!! I love the idea of watching ads to gain minutes for listening. The only problem I keep running into is that the ads won't load. If this can be fixed, I will happily give this app 5 stars. I hate having to pay for subscriptions all the time for everything. So, this is a nice change.
The best of its kind. You can use ads for time or subscribe. You can run ads together to gather up time to listen without interruption. I run the ads while I'm doing housework or watching a show, then have tons of listening time for running errands or road trips. I've been able to check out several different books & authors to figure out if I want to actually spend money on a subscription. The pace of the narration is just right. Absolutely needs a sleep timer though
First app, I have seen that when they say free, they really mean it. And I love the books. I am recommending it to all my friends. Update still, my favorite app for audio books, but now they offer a reasonable price weekly, unlimited, advertisement free. I paid for it and still have to watch ads. So what's up with that? This is the only place I can complain. 🙄😠
An absolutely wonderful experience. The way this platform operates is genius and true to word... Free. But if sometimes impatient, aside from subscription to eliminate ads, it's only 99¢\hr. Great set up, great selections, and high quality writers... what they ask in return is almost an honor to give and shows that they have us readers in mind every step of the way.
