So here's my take on Freya - surge timer for labour. I've tried a bunch of pregnancy and labor apps, and this one's definitely one of the better ones. And the guided breathing and relaxation features are super helpful, and I like how you can track your progress so easily. It's not the most feature-packed app out there, but it does the essentials really well. The only downside is that it can get a bit repetitive after a while, but that's a small price to pay for the peace of mind it brings during labor.

Description

Been using Freya – surge timer for labour for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that coaches you through every surge or contraction during labor using breathing techniques. There’s also guided meditations, affirmations, and relaxing music to help you chill out in between. Basically it’s like having a virtual birth partner to support you.

The app makes it super easy to track your progress – you can see how often the surges are coming and how long they last. And it’ll even let you know when your labor is established and it’s time to call the midwife. Honestly, it’s been a lifesaver.

Look, if you’re pregnant and looking for an app to help with labor, you’ll probably really like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the breathing exercises can get a bit repetitive – but overall it does the job and I’d definitely recommend it.
