Been using Fridge Recipe Generator: Crumb for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that takes the ingredients you have in your fridge and pantry and creates personalized recipes for you. Pretty solid if you’re always staring at your fridge wondering what to make.
Here’s how it works: you can either type in the ingredients you have or use the voice recognition to list them out. Crumb then generates recipes tailored to the food you’ve got on hand. And there’s also a feature that lets you pick how much time you have to cook and how many people you’re feeding, which is pretty cool. And the recipes themselves are actually pretty good – took me a while to figure out some of the cooking methods but it’s been useful.
Look, if you’re the type of person who hates food waste and is always trying to get creative with leftovers, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the database of recipes could be bigger – but overall it does a solid job of transforming your fridge ingredients into exciting, zero-waste meals. Worth checking out if you’re in a cooking rut.
