Works well, no hiccups connecting to frigate instance
Reviews for Frigate Viewer
← Back to Frigate ViewerThere is no live view . Also setting page keep displayed as water mark during viewing other pages
I don't know why the app only run sub stream with no audio
can't connect to the server. how to connect? at least give us some documentation or guide with examples or something
After last update, playback now works. Thanks for the great app.. Have send a small donation 😉
Smooth, functional, and reactive. Hoping a live feed will be implemented.
Great App! Really, needs to periodically auto-refresh the event list though...
Very simple to use and works first time. Curious if you will work to add in go2rtc support for live streaming as well?
Love the app. Not experiencing the issues others have mentioned. My only reservation is that I cannot turn on notifications. Either through the app or in phone settings. Is there a reason for this?
Works great for me. Frigate won't play my events on the web, so this is my only way currently. Edit: Stopped working with a json error after I updated frigate to 0.15.
A very basic app. Almost none of the Frigate features are available. Stars reflect simplicity of the app compared to just accessing Frigate UI through a browser.
Great app. I'd give it 5 stars if I didn't need to constantly keep turning my smart phone around while viewing recorded events.
Good simple app, but still needs live view & birds eye view. Creating a light webapp via "Hermit" is comparably useable but is fully featured.
Very good app, simple, lightweight, to the point. One feature that seems to be missing is a bird's eye view that is present in the web app. Would really appreciate that. Keep up the good work.
app works now but always get a json parse error when opening and have to open the menu and select list of cameras never opens cameras when starting app without the error
Works as expected (which is a huge plus), but could use some polishing. There's no feature to download events in the background, which would make it more practical for slow connections and/or slow servers (I need to wait for ffmpeg to complete right now, unless I patch Frigate). It's not the most sophisticated app, but it probably was what tipped the scale towards implementation of Frigate in the first place. It works better than the web-application of Frigate.
Is there any more development with this app? We really need a solid frigate app and this is a good way there. It's quite buggy on Android 14. Like others have said settings page just randomly appears when switching sections. Live view need to be a thing I understand it's more work to implement but without it a browser is better. Logs overlap each other and don't display right. I would pay for a full-featued bug-free app others would too!
Nice app. just a shame it doesn't support video playback on a recording camera to any point in time, only playback of captured events.
app provides basic functionality, only shows sub stream with no option to view higher res, no ability to zoom into feeds. Shortcut to frigate dashboaed on home works better and supports all the features.
Very solid effort from the developer (thank you!). The UI is similar to Frigate, so it should be easy to navigate. Video is responsive and audio is good. There are a few bugs on Android 13, including pulling up the logs (text lines overlay each other), and events pulling up seem to start immediately instead of selecting one. Thank you, developer!
