I liked the prior version,It worked fine. I do not like the current version. You can not hold the button down to change the temp multiple degrees. You have to tap the button once for each degree you want to change it. You should be able to hold the button down and the temp count up or down one degree per second or so. Also, if you lose power, WiFi will not automatically connect. You have to unplug the AC for about 10 seconds once power is back on before it will connect to WIFI again. Toomanyupda

Terrible app. When opening the old app and logging in it asks to transfer to this one. Say yes and you have to log in again. Except that you I'd and password doesn't work. I even changed mine and still can't log in. But I can log in no problem to the old app. The new app also doesn't seem to keep me logged in ( when it was working). This isn't a banking app. Keep me logged in!

No longer supports my AC and there are no options to adjust the schedule I have setup using the remote or controls on the unit as instructed by the app. losing remote access via the app defeats the purpose and only serves as a deterrent towards future purchases of the brand. It worked fine prior to the recent update and there is no option to downgrade. Integrated with several "smart home" devices and now it's useless. Up to this point I was pleased with the devices.

The app worked in the beginning. Now it displays the correct information on the app, but won't control the unit. If I use the remote and change the temp for example, the app instantly shows the change. But if I set the change on the app itself, the change either doesn't occur or it occurs 15-20 minutes later. Wifi is good and I have also tried reconnecting the ac to wifi. That worked initially but quickly reverted to the same issue. Please fix!

Had this particular window AC for several years which I bought for the Wi-Fi ability. Upon installing this season, it seems to randomly not be able to connect to the new app and am greeted with error message "This model (FFRC0833RI) doesn't work with this app. You can keep using the appliance without the app. For instructions and FAQ, check the user manual." What a joke. A model being discontinued or older shouldn't break functionality. Googling shows I'm not alone in this situation.

I would give this a 0 if I could! AWFUL APP! It keeps disconnecting the a/c from my phone and my husbands and keeps saying to update it! I checked all the settings & have Uninstalled & reinstalled it several times. From reading the reviews it looks like several people are having this problem so why can't you fix it?! One reason we bought this was it had the feature where you could control it if you're not home! 2 VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS!

Most recent update broke everything...useless. was on 40 minutes wait for Chat; then told to call. waited 30 minutes only to be told it could take 72 hours to resolve. Can't add any devices. It adds something, but it isn't my AC. Have had this issue before with Frigidaire app. Update 7/1...please fix this app. I can now add all of the ACs in, but can't name them. Each time I rename it only changes the first device I added. All the rest say "Air Conditioner". For all of our sakes roll back.

This app sucks... First, every time I shut the app down, it forces me to go through the login process again... That's stupid ridiculous. And you can't change from C to F... Then, for some reason, my portable a/c stopped connecting to the internet. I ended up resetting the AC unit and now it won't let me add it back to my app because the old one is still there. I tried to delete it from the app but it won't delete and every time I try, the app crashes. So now I can't connect via app...

App worked fine for my dehumidifier until today, 30Jun2025. Ran all troubleshooting steps on multiple devices. Will not let me connect to the current device ("Unavailable"). Will not let me add it as a new device because it's already registered as a current device, ("Cannot register as new device"), And, there is no option to remove the current device from the app to start over. Ultimately get a "Service not available. Try again later." message, or the app force closes.

WARNING: Once you set an automated task, you cannot turn it off. that means if you set an auto on/off time, and go on vacation and want to turn the task off remotely, there's no way to do so. your air conditioner will turn on and off permanently without the ability to change it. The app just gives errors. Infuriating!
