So here's my honest take on Full Code Medical Simulation. I've tested a bunch of medical training apps and this one's pretty solid. The variety of cases is impressive, and I like how you get to make all the decisions instead of just following a script. And the game-like interface makes it a lot more engaging than your typical sim. On the downside, it can feel a bit monotonous if you grind through too many cases at once. But overall, it's a great tool to build up your clinical judgment in a risk-free environment.

Description

Been using Full Code Medical Simulation for a couple months now. It’s basically a virtual training app where you can practice diagnosing and treating patients in emergency situations. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s a library of over 200 different medical cases you can work through. You get to choose from all sorts of actions as you try to stabilize the patient. It’s got a really nice, gamelike interface that makes it fun to play. And the cases are written by actual medical experts, so it’s not just some generic sim.

Look, if you’re a medical student, nurse, EMT, or anyone who wants to sharpen their clinical skills, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – can get a little repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

I paid for the subscription, and yet every other case it just crashes on me. Very disappointing, because otherwise it is really good.
