Deceptive, it says and it's opening that you are allowed to delete your account which in a way you can but when I asked to delete my account they said okay but we will retain your records, which is our legal right. Possibly I misunderstood this? at best it is misleading.
Reviews for Galileo: Medical Care
← Back to Galileo: Medical CareThey are very respectful and understanding. They listen with true empathy and are not only helpful but they aren't judgemental either. If you have any health concerns and don't feel comfortable going to a doctor in person or maybe you can't find the right doctor or can't travel to see a doctor. I recommend this service for all telehealth services. Give them a try. What do you have to lose? You won't regret it I guarantee. I hope this helps someone have a good day.
They are very thorough and compassionate. They check back with you to see how you are feeling and will adjust treatment if necessary.
Can't recommend it.. I used their urgent care function to try to get some refills of medications I've been on for decades, and they are some of the slowest doctors I've dealt with. They don't respond until you've sent them multiple messages, and they somehow think that messaging people at midnight to send them important time sensitive documents to sign, is professional. They're rude, they don't listen, they don't read notes, and they take 12-24 hours to respond to every message.
There's a lot to like about this concept and a lot not to like. First, they can not prescribe a controlled substance. With so many drugs being controlled substances this is a huge limitation. I wonder if sometimes the drugs they prescribe are really the most effective or the result of them choosing from a limited formulary. Second, you never see the same provider twice. This can be bad for consistency of care. And there's no way to request seeing the same provider each time. Lastly, the care
First time using the app and very easy. didn't have to tke off of work for you routine medical needs. Fast response and very informing. Will def use for my normal urgent care needs.
Awesome people working hard to keep you healthy and happy! Easy appointment setup and app. Highly recommended!
submitted a claim. didn't hear anything for 20 hours. was told they're taking step internally to reduce wait times. I could literally have just gone anywhere else or even probably just died and I would have had a better time
This app is terrible, which is a shame b/c the doctor i spoke to was lovely. It's been a month of me trying to get my medication (NOT a controlled substance). ive jumped through all the hoops, but then the ap locks my "case."
if you're really looking for that app to have your health care where you can do consultations via FaceTime or message this is the one for you great doctors and they really listen! had a UTI and they were able to call me in a prescription without a problem
First time using this service. The Dr was very kind and answered all of my questions and concerns. My wait time was less than 10 minutes and it was so simple to do right from the comfort of my home and my mobile app. Highly recommend!
Amazing! I can't say enough positive things about this company. The provider got back to me quickly, listened to all my concerns, was very informative, compassionate, and got me the help and medication I desperately needed.
I am a Galileo patient and I really am pleased with the doctors that I see. but the app is a different story. every time I put in my email and password it says it is wrong. I have reset my password 5 different times with new passwords and nothing works
I was skeptical at the beginning, but they are available 24/7 emails, messages, phone, or whatever I needed. They never treated me with disdain or disrespect. It doesn't matter how long my message is or the topic. They respond with care, concern, and understanding. There are doctors for everything. Symptoms and ailments are assigned a separate case for each. Very thorough. October 3, review... charging nearly twice the amount per month. Plus $10 consultation fee/dr. consult. Can't afford that!
A clever way to bill for multiple visits. what i used to get taken care of by my primary care requires another case, another visit fee with a different doctor. Not nearly enough time to get thru medical history during one visit. it's a perpetual insurance billing scheme.
App itself is easy to use, except for the occasional crashing. Unfortunately, 2-3 hours, turned into 5 hours without any response (that's fine- they're busy), but then that 5 hour ETA turned into over 24 hours now... with no response whatsoever to my health inquiry. Were expectations clearly stated that they may take 24-48 hours (who knows at this point) to even acknowledge you, I would have more faith in them. There's other options out there. They can't possibly do any worse.
What did you guys do to the text interface?! It is nearly impossible to go back and edit what you've already typed because after about five seconds, the cursor likes to go back down to the very bottom. You also can't type using dictation. Both of these make interacting with your care providers very frustrating at times.
I've been on the app for about 4 months now, and it has been really great. Some complaints are from people who don't understand how this app works... Yes, you have access to sending messages 24/7, but you should not expect that it will be rapid fast responses as if you are in an office. It isn't for emergencies. Really nice and knowledgeable practitioners; good communication; and easy to use at a great price point. Hope it stays amazing!
Great App, I'm going to buy a yearly sub after this. Updating this, so I reported an engineering issue that caused the app to crash and at the same time, I ran out of medication. I contacted support, and same day, they fixed the problem, got my medication submitted and ready for pick up. How the heck? I've worked in the software industry. I know how many steps it takes to do that and let me tell you, that is impressive. Can I give them 10 stars?
I'm currently waiting on a response now. I'm new to this app and this type of care in general. I rated the app 5 stars anyways for a few reasons. I checked most of the companies out and my deciding factors were price, ability to speak my needs freely (not forced to pick from a list of issues) and available payment options (some of the others wouldn't take my unemployment debit card). Hopefully this saves the next person some time and effort!
