Reviews for Game Maps IRL
← Back to Game Maps IRLThe app made me leave a review in Google Play before I even got to see how the app worked. this is pretty much a scam. Expect to pay $80 a year or $5 a week to use the app. I quickly uninstalled it.
cool but not very functional and so expensive. would pay $40 for lifetime access but not yearly subscription. if they added more features and icons and made a lifetime sub I would definitely rate 5 stars
it gives me a black screen instead of showing a map and it's not free at least give us a free version with ads I'm completely ok with ads if u make your app more efficient and optimize it more btw is the programmer or ceo of this app is Dutch because it's too expensive to do anything with app u either have to watch ads or pay too much monthly just for a theme for map
Location doesn't work, it shows me on the map moving but every time I use the icon on the right to lock to my arrow, it just shows a random part of the country
$80 a year to look at a map but can't navigate anywhere is crazy. it's really cool to see the maps from games but that price is just way too much!
awesome concept, but for the average person the premium is way too expensive especially when it isn't a one-time purchase. As for the map quality, not every town shows up on the map but that will likely improve
it's an awesome concept, but you can't really use it for anything to make it useful. If they added a way to get directions to a place and to search, it would be perfect. It's not really worth the installation besides to see what it looks like for a little.
app forces you to rate before using, the rest of the review is after this step, my rating did not change. $28 a month is utterly absurd, the forced rating engagement and subscription model are garbage. just use google maps, you dont need this.
From the official channel on YouTube, I saw it so good! So I quickly head to PlayStore to download it, but it's not what I expected! First, it was so laggy, secondly too much ads, and third... loong ads...
this app is so cool, apart from needing to pay for other maps (im only using the rdr2 one so It doesn't affect me) it doesn't have every place and shop but that is understandable for how much work it would be and they could add it at a later time.
The app and the idea itself is great, but the price is just not justified. I understand Google can afford to give this service free of cost but these guys just can't, however, I for one cannot afford to pay for a service that is easily available for free. No matter how cool or aesthetically pleasing the paid one may be.
it's mid. it looks great but there's 0 revelation tools. Just a map . you can even look up an address , so why would I use it more then once ? however , once navigation tools are added I'm definitely giving it a 5 star and subscribing
looks really good and watching an ad to change the map is completely fair but the only downside is there's no way to look up a place and mark it for gps which kind of renders it useless. it is cool? yes. but is it actually worth using? at the moment no.
Very poor use of app, constant ads. The app should have custom colors and themes. just like Google maps but more creative and futuristic. definitely not it. doesn't even show you shops nearby it's just like a layout cheap of a map. no icons nothing. just color changing, and you have to literally pay an subscription, absurd. If only the app made free and access to the same locations and system as Google maps. and had alot of themes. custom colors and so on forth. would definitely consider it.
The map is really cool and surprisingly detailed and honestly pretty useful too with the waypoint feature, but there's WAY too many ads. Everytime I do anything I'm hit with an ad and premium is way too expensive, like how can i be expected to pay $10/month for a map to not have ads?!
Cool idea, and it would be cool to see more game styles, but I would never pay a yearly subscription for this or tolerate the ads. If there were a one-time payment option, I might not delete it, but for now, into the trash bin it goes.
Literally false advertising. When you open the app for the first time it tells you to pick a map style, but the second you do it launches you into the subscription page and you can't exit out of it. If you reopen the app you can use only the San Andreas map style. If you click on another map it says you can watch an ad to switch, however when the ad is over it launches you right back into that subscription page. Don't bother.
Map looks great, map price does not. Not every app needs to have a subscription, it's the reason there's only 10k downloads and wouldn't doubt that only 2 of those 10k have an active subscription. Maybe if you made a lifetime purchase for $50 that be acceptable but $8/pw or $32/pm is outrageous for a gag app that you'll use once. I'd might use it more than once if I didn't have to pay a weekly subscription or watch an ad for essentially a watered down google maps.
Giving it three stars because while cool it has issues. Firstly, it's only good as "just" a map. You can't use it as a GPS, and while you can "set waypoints," you have to scroll to the location and set it manually. You can't type an address and have it map you there. Secondly, paying 5 bucks a week for access to 5 maps is kinda ridiculous tbh. The RDR map is imo the best one. Make a GPS function and remove cost and 5 stars.
