Description
Been playing Garmin Golf for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you track your rounds and compete with friends on leaderboards at tons of golf courses around the world. There’s also some cool features like shot maps and performance stats to help you improve your game.
The main thing you do is log your rounds – you can connect your phone to a Garmin device and it’ll automatically track all your shots, or you can just manually enter the scores. There’s also weekly leaderboards so you can see how you stack up against other golfers. And if you get the paid membership, you can even play virtual rounds on over 43,000 courses.
Look, if you’re a golfer who likes tracking stats and competing with buddies, you’ll probably get a kick out of Garmin Golf. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little buggy sometimes and the paid features are kinda expensive. But overall it’s a solid golf companion that helps you improve your game.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of golf apps and Garmin Golf is one of the better ones. The core features like round tracking and leaderboards work really well, and the virtual course play is a neat extra if you're into that. The interface is clean and intuitive too. But there are a few things that hold it back - the bugs can be annoying, and the premium stuff is pricey. Still, if you want a comprehensive golf app to level up your game, Garmin Golf is worth checking out.
