So here's my honest take on Gather: The Foraging App. I've tested a bunch of different nature/outdoors apps and this one's pretty good. The level of detail is impressive - way more comprehensive than the basic field guides I've used before. I like how it's tailored to your specific location and tells you exactly what's in season. The identification guides with side-by-side photos are super useful too. The only real downside is the UI - it's not the most intuitive and took me a while to figure out. But once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty powerful tool for learning about your local edible plants.
