So here's my honest take on Geeky Medics - OSCE revision. I've tested a bunch of medical exam prep apps and this one's definitely one of the more comprehensive ones. The virtual patient simulations and step-by-step guides are super helpful for practicing your clinical skills. And the AI tutor is a neat little feature that can quiz you and give feedback. But it's not without its issues - the UI is a bit cluttered and the ads can get old quick if you don't pay for the pro version. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty solid app that can really help med students nail those OSCEs.

  • Works offline so you can study anywhere
  • Free to download with optional pro version
  • Graphics and animations are well-done

Cons

Description

Been using Geeky Medics – OSCE revision for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you prepare for medical exams like OSCEs. There’s a ton of different study tools – virtual patients, step-by-step guides, question banks, flashcards, and even an AI tutor to quiz you. Honestly, it’s a pretty solid app if you’re a med student trying to get ready for those big exams.

Here’s what you do: you can practice with over 1200 OSCE station scenarios, which is great for getting used to the format. There’s also 200+ guides that walk you through procedures with images and checklists. And the virtual patient feature is really cool – you can do fake consultations with AI and get feedback. It’s got a ton of stuff to help you study.

Look, if you’re a medical student prepping for OSCEs and exams, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit confusing at first and the ads can get annoying. But overall it does the job and makes studying a lot more engaging. Worth checking out for sure.

Very good app and well summarised examinations. It does cost money, but this is not a reason to give it a bad review. The full resources are available on their...
