Been using Gemstone Lights for a couple months now. It’s basically a smart home app that lets you control your lights, create cool lighting patterns, and all that. Pretty solid app if you’re into home automation and customizing your lighting.

Here’s what you do: you can set schedules for your lights, like having them turn on at sunset and off at bedtime. There’s also a bunch of pre-made lighting patterns you can use, and you can make your own too. It’s got a cloud sync feature so you can access your stuff from any device. And the new app has a way smoother interface – took me a while to figure out the old one.

Works well with scheduling and I like holiday options. Wish there was a push notification option to know the lights turned on.

Frequently locks up and not allow to control lights. We have had the lights about 2 weeks.

You can easily pick a specific light (or lights}. We light up our house number when everything else is turned off after midnight.
