So here's my honest take on Genius Fax. I've tested a bunch of business apps and this one's pretty solid. The interface is clean and easy to use, and I like how you can send faxes from your phone instead of having to go to a fax machine. But it's not without its flaws - the fax costs add up if you use it a lot, and I found the setup process for getting a fax number to be a bit confusing at first. Overall though, it's a reliable option if you still need to fax things occasionally.

Pros

  • Lets you send and receive faxes right from your phone
  • Simple, straightforward interface doesn't require a lot of learning
  • Good integration with cloud storage to pull documents from
  • Affordable faxing rates compared to going to a fax store

Cons

  • Faxing isn't free, so the costs can add up over time
  • Setting up your own fax number is a bit tricky
  • Feels a bit dated compared to newer document signing/sharing apps

Description

Been using Genius Fax for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you send and receive faxes from your phone. Pretty solid if you still need to fax stuff.

Here’s what you do: you can choose a file from your phone or cloud storage, enter the fax number, and hit send. There’s also a feature to get your own fax number so people can send you stuff. Took me a while to figure that one out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re still into faxing (I know, it’s old school), you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the faxes aren’t free and the UI could be a bit more intuitive – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you need to fax on the go.
