The app quit working. Said there was no connection to internet, and that I was 3 hours away from where I actually was. Yet it said I was in 2 different places at same time. I could not get it to change anything. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Its even worse now. I cannot e-mail my logs as it says that the add-on can't be loaded and I have to talk to administrator. It now constantly flashes across my screen, that request was denied for security...

Horrible, goes into onduty status as you're driving down the hiway. Constantly disconnecting from the vehicle. Then as your sitting in the vehicle, off duty, it will say vehicle is out of range. And the only solution they come up with...disconnect the transponder box and delete the app. Re-connect after an hour or so, and download the app again. I was using geotab, I bought something not requiring elogs for the past 3 years, now back using geotab. Same problems, they haven't fixed a thing.

Very user unfriendly and difficult. I have many problems: 1) the "END DAY" button doesn't END DAY!! 2) it doesnt have a confirm on duty feature. I went on a 2 week vacation and did not log off, so instead of taking me off duty at some point it left me on for two weeks straight which is stupid. it's impossible to work 2 weeks straight. After 24 hours it should ask "are you still on duty?" 3) It is stupid you cannot switch status while moving. If I am even sitting as passenger in a vehicle.

Our company has been using this app since E-logs have become mandatory. Never had any issues with it, excellent app. I do wish they they reported total onduty and driving time from the start of a trip to the end of a trip. It would make it a lot easier to figure out my meal allowances for tax purposes here in Canada.

It keeps sending upcoming violation notifications for absolutely no reason. It doesn't read the situations on it's own other than start driving when you do. You must keep dictating to it, even the smallest things. As if you need to hire someone to operate it for you while you are busy with other trucking operations.

Much better than JJKeller (good riddance). Just one problem...Common passwords not allowed?? This isn't my bank or access to medical records, it's an ELD! I honestly don't understand the need for a password at all, but if I have to use one, I should be able to use one that is simple and easy to remember. Nobody is going to be trying to crack my ELD app!

selected person conveyance and had to stop and shut truck off for a minute. when I started the truck again, the prompt to stay in PC popped up. I tapped yes, started driving, and it changed to drive. constantly stop for a few minutes and get logged out also.

No longer able to log in using Samsung android phone. I am Told I entered the wrong password or user name. However when I use the exact same password and username on Samsung tablet in truck it logs me in right away. Why?? It worked until a few days ago. After 2 days of not being able to log in the same " wrong username or password" suddenly works. It's a great app other than the occasional login glitch.

App does not allow for split breaks and also will randomly put you on duty or driving when you haven't moved or done anything in hours and then claims you can't edit the on duty time because it's an automatic log which is total BS also rarely logs the correct amount of mileage sometimes it's off by as much as 400+ miles!!!!!

We installed geotab into 30 units so far. Very user unfriendly. Logs you in and out randomly, constantly have HOS violations even if we aren't working because of it. Constantly editing in the office. Why can't you edit in the app? The DOT can see all the changes anyway. We need to be able to turn off the automatic status changes. Really annoying! Thinking of switching back to keep trucking if this isn't resolved. Like the app other than the auto status changing from off duty to on duty.

waste of company money. too many glitches. I have to pull over just to verify what I already verified. nothing updates properly. too many other drivers going into violation because of those issues. Geotab won't pay for the ticket nor will it be put on their driving record. ridiculous waste for this cheap service. just use paper its more of a guarantee.

GEOTAB DRIVE APPLICATION 1. No option to add another trailer (+ button). 2. When you 'log in', you need immediately to confirm the trailer and the truck pre-trip, but you're not hooked up yet, no inspection has been done. 3. When you go in the yard 'on duty', you should be allowed at least 1 km driving in the yard, before clock automatically puts you on "driving" status. That's what I found in 3 days of using the app.

This is an okay app for appearing to be in its infancy. I like the fact I can run it off my personal tablet and for the most part I have no connection issues even running through my phone's hotspot. however there are a number of things that need to be implemented into this app to make it more truck driver friendly and comparable to the other ELD apps. there are also some stupid mistakes made on functionality. this app is not ready for primetime therefore I'm only going to give it 3 stars.

In our entire fleet it is a very glitchy App. It is confusing to difficult to scroll between pages. For Example, all our dreams drivers log out their accounts as being off. But when someone else drives a vehicle it automatically logs the off person back in and as the driver. This leads to many log infractions. Another problem is if you are a passenger or in a moving vehicle it prevents you from doing anything on the App. Not a good app for random vehicles & drivers.

This app is full of flaws. It has constantly had issues and today an issue caused me to get reprimanded at my employment place. Avoid if possible and I will be filing with the BBB for its consistent major discrepancies.

There are a few annoyances. But the most annoying feature is that it constantly asks me if I have shipment ID and/or tells me of unverified logs. GET RID OF THIS FEATURE. Each one interferes with the other. When I am trying to verify logs, it wants to have the Shipping ID and when I am trying to type in the shipping ID it wants to verify logs. Sometimes we have empties which means there is no Shipping ID but it keeps asking. The system needs to just STFU and wait until I can deal with it!

no more driver logs? my work uses this to trake my drive time for efficiency. i'm also not the only one that drives this vehicle. So anytime I log in to do an inspection, it just assumes that I was the only person driving it And I get flagged for seatbelt errors.

Exactly how many API calls are being made that it takes 7 minutes to select no vehicle and then go off duty? The Geotab devs have gone home while I'm waiting at work unpaid for their app.

Support is non existent. app has a memory leak that causes it to become unresponsive if left open for any amount of time. You have to force close the app and reopen it before you can change duty status or switch drivers, or any other action inside the app. Easily the worst ELD system I've ever had to use.

honestly this app really kind of sucks compared to people's net it freezes all the time it's response capabilities are garbage sometimes you have to hit the button like two or three times or more to get it to respond and no it's not the phone or the tablet not to mention it is far harder to alter or fix a mistake on your logs it freezes all the time or just straight up doesn't respond completely You can like scroll up and down but it won't acknowledge anything else You're constantly restart it
