Reviews for GeoWiz HOS4Ag (GPS)
← Back to GeoWiz HOS4Ag (GPS)This is an easier way to run my agriculture exemption than I would normally I just pick a spot and it does the radius for me.
Great app for ag. Glad somebody finally took all truckers into account. Not just general use.
So much simpler with this app. The locations are saved and it makes me not have to worry about being in the right spot as much.
A friend that uses and loves this product recommend it to me and, boy am I glad they did. It's easy to use and saves lots of headaches. Best, most accurate, most affordable deal out there. Tell your friends.
Okay just downloaded this app and have been playing with it for about 2 days. I'm here in Kersey Colorado hauling cows. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on which is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. There aren't any instructions but what you have to do is you have to drop in your location and once you do that it turns my regular log book into an an agriculture book. I called and talked to Ethan who Explains It All To Me. Good-looking logs and it puts notes on all my duty lines which is cool. Recommended.
I obviously purchased this app for AG HOS exemptions and ease of logging. There's nothing automatic about the 150 air miles radius. You can't switch to on duty upon reaching the boundaries of your radius without stopping and fumbling around with the app. Since I'm hauling livestock I don't require a half hour break, but it puts up a warning that I skipped it, that completely blocks any effort to correct it, making any editing impossible at that point. There is no phone support contact, just leave them a dead end ticket noting your frustrations. First day impressions, not at all favorable.
This is a nice slick app. You do have to put in your agriculture locations for it to work. Read Pappa D's review, he seems pretty low energy as he is describing a different app. Once you enter your locations it fills in all the notes for your log, and nicely manages the correct duty status (off-duty). The app shows a bar that tells you how far from the edge of the exemption you are, and AUTOMATICALLY starts recording logs once you cross it, or stops recording logs once you enter it.
