horrible impression for a new customer!! I followed the steps to register. Was offered a $50 cash advance and had to spend half of it in merchandise in the store. The app gave me the option to select instant cash advance for the remaining (within 30 mins) OR 1 day deposit. This selection was shaded out, and I was not able to click on it. It shows the order with no problem!! I feel this is an " on purpose issue"

Update: finally received my package after almost 3 weeks, although I did not appreciate the customer service (to me) implying that I may have been lying about not receiving my order. My view on this app is still the same and have already closed my account and uninstalled it. Customer service did their best and that is appreciable but the other functions need to be worked on like if the item is not available or limited make that clear, package delay update information and im sure more

I would leave -10 stars if I could. This has been one of the most horrible customer service experiences I have ever had. DO NOT ORDER from GERALD!! Besides overcharging for items you can purchase cheaper on Amazon, they have been gaslighting me about an order that should have been delivered a month ago, without providing either a replacement shipment or a refund. A complete waste of time, very dissatisfied.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. It's just another app to link you to sites paying you next to nothing for survey and playing games that set unrealistic goals to achieve the value they advertise. My bank is established with weekly direct deposits and their system couldn't pick up on consistent deposits for the last three months. It literally would be impossible to miss.

The concept of this app is amazing. However, the reality of it is FAR OFF THE MARK. First and foremost you guys need to get an actual partnership with Amazon/Prime or you need to stop. Why are we paying you marked up prices PLUS shipping for Amazon items like I'm not ALREADY A PRIME MEMBER? Then after buying these ridiculouly priced items where you have to spend over $23 to unlock to the initial payout that isn't even a full $ 20, It feels more like a slap in the face. So do better or just stop.

Do not use this company! They'll give ya a cash advance after you make a purchase through them and then the product or products you order doesn't come on time as specified. And the cash advance you get from them is around 25% of the total. The other 75% of the total goes towards whatever products they want you to buy in order to "qualify" for the advance. Worst cash advance company I've used by far. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Not impressed at all!

This app offers products that can not fulfill it. They have a terrible policy beware. They do not refund your money, even when it's their error or if it was a mistake, they offer you a advance wish is a scam to began, they make you buy products from their store, using your advance and you can send the rest t9 your bank, but all this is all a lie and its all a scam, whe you actually buy something using their fake advance, they straight charge it from your account and not the advance they offer.

Complete lack of communication, no notifications about your order being delivered, or even being on its way. You have to spend a lot to get a little, the price of shipping is ridiculous! Also orders take forever to be delivered, I've been waiting 2 weeks on a package. This is a very frustrating app to use

This is not a good app or company if you're just looking for a cash advance. I had to purchase items through their store which I didn't mind, it was stuff I needed. Only to be waiting weeks for my order that I paid for in advance and NEVER RECEIVED YET and don't know when I will receive my items, that they mentioned were available but NOT NOT AVAILABLE. ALSO, they have a non-refundable policy.... BE CAREFUL and maybe just go to Tilt, instead for a cash advance.

I paid for an item I never recieved. they never issued a shipping notice or tracking number. I was told the item should have been delivered but they will look into the issue and update as soon as possible. 4 days later no new information on the status of the undelivered item, they just keep lying saying they will notify someone and update you. I just want a refund at this point.

I am changing my review as I did receive the product finally. I still do not recommend this app. If you need to borrow $25 bucks then you probably cannot afford to spend $40 or more on overpriced items that take forever to arrive just so you can access the $25.you.are approved to borrow. plenty of other apps with cheap fees that will cost you way less.

Do not use this POS app! doesn't deserve a star!! The app is just a rip-off! It gives advances, but you have to use most of it to purchase something, and the item never gets delivered! It constantly sends emails about playing games that qualify you for an advance! BS!! I got about 20 points from the game. I downloaded games as instructed and have been playing every day. I surpassed the level required and have not seen any more points added for qualification for an advance!

Works as advertised, kinda. They give you an advance amount and roughly 2/3 of it needs to be spent in their in app shop before the rest is available as a cash advance. Problem is, some of the stuff won't show up. I've used them twice and over a month, of the 6 things I ordered, 2 have arrived. Those came directly from Amazon and I'm sure I paid a markup. I'm working to get a refund for the rest since I already paid back the advance. I wouldn't recommend it unless you need cash desperately.

Spoke to Mark and he stated that items have yet to be shipped. He did place in to see if expedited. Mark did a good job. Got an advance and items have yet to be delivered or shipped. Might change review if items are actually delivered. I am not hopeful items will be delivered especially if this is the first time experience with the app.

Their Cash Advance is terrible. You have to purchase an item to get an advance. They also do not refund any of the products that they give you " credit " to buy. also you will be required to pay Advance and purchase back at the same time. Do NOT use them. I needed headphones but had better from the dollar store but now owe them $40 bucks for an inferior item.

I've been using Gerald for a handful of months now. it is my last resort cash advance app. they advertise that they do not have fees but they get you pretty hard on the fees. the corner store is just Amazon that is marked up by maybe 20%. they dont tell you they will charge you up to $18 fee for shipping. we all know they get free shipped from Amazon. and they are difficult to get problems resolved when items are missing. ive had multiple orders with problems. its frustrating. disappointing.

UPDATE: You can expect shipping and fees to be around a third of what you spend at the cornerstore, and they need to provide order updates and tracking information on orders. It's 2025. who doesnt provide tracking information? -2* Only complaints are that search filters don't work and item descriptions in the cornerstone are lacking. Other than that, it's convenient to be able to order things I know I'll need in a week while also borrowing a few bucks.

*Edit: Previously I had issues with verification bank acc. After some days I gave them a try again. Able to create an account but while the idea seems noble, you have* to spend money (aka from cash advance received) in their "store" in order to transfer the rest which is prob 1/3 left. Shipping fee is also added per item. & for the reviews either it takes forever to arrive or never arrives. Payback date also seems too short to. Looks like a good idea/project but it's not very well effectuated :/

There has to be a glitch I reported it to customer service every time I put something into the cart it says they have none available and they take it out immediately there is no way every single type of foundation to choose from is out. I did send an email saying it was resolved however it has not been resolved I have erased the app and re-downloaded it and the issue is still there I am a new customer and this is extremely frustrating and such a letdown

This is by far the worst payday app I have ever used. You have to buy items from the overpriced store to even qualify for a loan. I tried it once and after three weeks of my loan and the items I had to order being paid off in full I am still waiting on the merchandise. It's been over three weeks ago. Customer service told me everything was on backorder hasn't even been shipped and they refused to issue me my $50 refund. This app is horrible don't do it
