Not a bad app. The free version does just enough. However, the premium subscription is too expensive. 7.99 a week, is way too expensive. Not everyone can afford that. Some of us are on SSI, and are only making money monthly. You need to offer more options for the premium version. Monthly, and annually, would be well appreciated. And would save people money.

Samsung S23 Ultra (running One UI 8 / Android 16), the system no longer allows it to be set as the default caller ID app. Google and Samsung have restricted third-party apps from being set as the default “caller ID & spam” service for privacy and security reasons. Only system-signed apps like Google Phone can now use that permission. As a result, Getcontact can only show limited caller info in the background, but can’t function as the main caller ID anymore.

The app is broken. I have a subscription and now when I tap on the view tags of any user profile, the page just doesn't go anywhere and the tags are not shown. Tried to contact support but no reply from them.

I have been trying to verify for almost 2 months, but until today I still can't log in to my new phone, This app used to be the best, now it's the worst app I've ever installed on my phone.

I keep getting charge for subscriptions for a few years now — I've cancelled it, yet it keeps draining my money out. I've reached out yet the team said that there was never a payment I've done when clearly my account is in Premium.

I got the premium plan, and I switched from trucaller for a reason, just to know better about strange numbers that call on my phone, Now I can't get to open the tags page to see the caller tags which makes the app completely useless for me, hope to fix this soon.

It used to show the more than one caller tag. Now they won't unless you subscribe. I'd appreciate it if you implement the typical 10 20 30-second ads and/or at least top 2 or 3 tags for each number so I get a clue of who the caller could be. Maybe a short duration ads to view the top 30% of the total tag and offer a subscription to view further.

they lie to get you to subscribe.. they don't have any of the premium features available and they only tell you this once you have paid. as soon as my payment cleared a pop up came on the screen that said "no premium features available at this time"

"Warning: This app is a scam! Don't waste your money like I did. I paid for a 6-month subscription, and after just a few days, they told me I'd reached the max usage limit. No prior notice, nothing. Total rip-off. Don't fall for it.

Mostly good, until I set this app as my default dialer and messenger. Using Termux, under root shell, I can see app.source.gercontact hogging my CPU 100%. Not sure if it's just a single core or more, but my phone body is hot, so I clear defaults and things go cool again. Until that gets fixed, I can't use this app as my default dialer and messenger.

Subscribe premium member more than a month, a lot of scam/spam caller still approach to the screen and take a time for the apps to recognize, sometimes you need open the caller number first and then recognize if its from spammer or scammer. You still get notified even you turn off the notification, really annoying how many total spammer call me hole day. and i try to compare with True Caller premium, Finally my problem solved no more notification call from scammer or spammer, automatically block

⭐⭐ (2/5) GetConect is a great app but also kind of disappointing. The only useful feature is seeing what name people save your number as, but beyond that it feels lacking in many ways. Setting up the app is a real hassle, and to make it worse, I got banned after just five failed attempts to log in. The potential is there, but the experience is frustrating and needs a lot of improvement.

i had subscribed to premium plane 5 months ago but now when i search for a numbers i got a message "you have reached maximum usage limit of Get contact, to resolve this issu a notification email had sent to ...." and i had checked my email and also the spam folder, and there is no email received !! SO, WHY I GOT THIS MESSAGE !!!!!

I used it many times before and it was fine but i reinstalled it and it doesn't work no matter what, after i enter my phone number it directs me to a page saying "please verify your phone number" then i click ok and nothing happens it just returns to the entering number page and the loop continues, and nothing even was sent on WhatsApp or sms i even tried different devices and different numbers and still didn't work

now it's not showing any tags, you'll have to subscribe to view the tags, what is the point of the app then! this is the idea about this app, if you need to subscribe for it all of a sudden then the app is useless, I'll not be viewing people's profiles daily so I don't need a subscription jus to check it once a month at most, I'm uninstalling it unfortunately

I saw a ad on Instagram that someone promoting this and saying that you can see your name saved in others phone that they saved your number with which name and then I downloaded this app and ask their chat boat and then I knew that they can't provide that feature because everyone's contact list are private. I disappointed by their service they are promoting their app with telling lie shame on you #Getcontact

didn’t like it, everything is for money, and when I searched the first time it was free, but when I searched with another number it asked me to subscribe with money. Also, when I searched the first time it only showed me 15 names even though there are more, and it showed me old names that were changed. 💢😑

This app has too many ads. Get a missed call and want to check it? 10 second ad. This is outrageous. I know ads keep things free, but that's what premium features are for. I'm fine with small ads at the top and/or bottom, but when it's a popup as soon as you go to do something in the app, it just ruins the experience. We get that having annoying pop-ups make you a lot of money, but when it comes to quality you should not have pop-ups. Maybe only use button pop-ups where you hit "Cancel" or an X.

Bad experience , After paying the annual subscription and before the subscription period ended, I was surprised that someone had seen the tags It's over, and I can't even renew the subscription or subscribe to a larger package. It's strange that they are serious and cannot be relied upon. I cannot pay for the package through Google Play. The only payment method is through the website, and this requires a credit card. However, I would be able to pay by mobile bill With Google play.

Very bad experience. After trying the free version of the app, I decided to subscribe to the paid version and purchased a 6-month plan. However, after only a few days of use, the app stopped showing results—exactly like the free version. When I contacted customer support, they replied after several days with just a link to subscribe to the paid version, not realizing that I was already a subscriber. Even after clarifying this, I never received any further response from them.
