Look, if you’ve got someone in jail and you wanna stay connected, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the video quality can be a little spotty sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need an easy way to visit remotely.

So here's my take on GettingOut Visits. I've tested a bunch of video chat apps for jails and prisons, and this one's pretty solid. The convenience factor is huge - being able to visit anytime without scheduling is a game-changer. Quality could be better, but it's good enough for catching up with loved ones. Beats the heck out of those old-school prison phones. Overall, it's a pretty useful app if you need to stay connected.
