I like the app it's simple to use. But there is some major lag going on with the scrolling. I log on via the website it's nice and smooth. Jump back over to the app and it's like playing the same game on a console at 30fps. And then going to pc at 60fps. This is happening on two android devices with difference versions. Overall it's a good app and will continue to use it.

Edits are weird. If you go back and read your post after someone comments and you see an error in spelling then oh well. You can't edit it after an hour of post. I have to make sure I have my glasses on before I post bc there's no fixing it later! If I don't have my glasses then I don't post. Seems petty I'm sure, but I don't like misspellings. It's easier to use than before. I don't post that much any more but I occasionally check the feed for news. Stream feature is nice.

I had it downloaded for about a week. But somehow I got logged out, couldn't get back in, changed my password twice & still couldn't get back in... I contacted support & still had no reply. So for now I had to uninstall as I couldn't get back in & I needed the space for another app. I am looking forward to getting it in the future when this issue has been resolved. Apart from all that it is awesome app.. I know its a fairly new app... so there is always going to be a few issues.

👍It's still a free speech app but, way too many Bots selling tinyurl, digital currency and telegram hookups. Don't even bother to block them anymore, too many.

2025 (1) no posts count features, good thing post texts can be copied (2) good thing they offer to create instant account to experience the app with random username the catch is you cant never delete the instant account unless you provide email or phone number (*) verdict: fishy so uninstall for good

⚠️ This app does not respect the users choices - it transmits data to Facebook analytics servers when the app was not launched, notifications are disabled, battery & background traffic are restricted in settings. 🔴 No change log / release notes.

Gettr, I'm still having the same problem with deleting the ones following me. I deleted them, and they came back again. Gettr, when are you going to get this bug fixed? Gettr, it's been months now, and this is still not fixed.

For an app and a platform that is supposedly all about freedom, I find it interesting that it refuses to run on a rooted device. The whole point of rooting a device is to gain freedom and yet this app seems to have a problem with that. I wonder what's really going on behind the scenes here? SO BE WARNED! THIS APP THAT IS SUPPOSEDLY ABOUT FREEDOM, DOESN'T ALLOW FREEDOM AT ALL WHEN IT COMES TO RUNNING ON A DEVICE THAT I CONTROL MYSELF USING THAT FREEDOM. The DEVS need to EXPLAIN this!

THIS APP TAKES UP ALL YOUR DEVICE RESOURCES AND CAUSES IT TO CRASH HARD AND DAMAGES YOUR DEVICE! CAREFUL NOT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEY'RE "FREE SPEECH" THEY WILL BLOCK YOU FROM UPLOADING CONTENT OR COMMENTS!

I've gone from 5 stars when it first came out, to 3 stars, now down to 1. riddled with bots, every update, which they think should be on a weekly basis 🙄 only screws up something else. you've got free speech and enough characters to get point across. but that's it. you can't see anything you're typing ( thx to an update), block about 30 bots DAILY, and " trending " news is about 2 days old, and had maybe 3 likes or reposts🙄. and last but not least, support is now NONEXISTENT

all was fine until a few days ago. can't get back into my account no matter what I do. contacted customer service, started a ticket, and crickets. so much for customer service

Sorry I updated. Watching a podcast and all of a sudden the app kicked me out multiple times and I had to go back to see the rest!!! Doesn't anyone check these updates out before they release them? Please fix it ASAP! Thanks!

Dumb app. Every time it updates it wants you to log back in and won't recognize your password nor let you change your password. It just blinks when you type the exact verification code sent to you. Trash it. The app was good during COVID but not now because it must have been hijacked.

Funtions pretty well, it allows downloading any media without watermark, copying texts from the posts is easy and quick, the only things I think that could improve is the fact that there's no way to check someone's posts from oldest to newest or something that makes it easier to check older posts, also on PC there's no download feature

This platform has potential. Seems stable. Easy to post and interact with other users. It is relatively quiet compared larger platforms and most users appear to slant conservative. Also it seems difficult to find other users to view their content. The platform pushes its "redcheck" celebrities, most of whom appear to have joined either after having been banned elsewhere or in anticipation of it. My main frustration is that I am required to supply login credential each time I open the app.

I like this socoal media app. One thing that I wish it had is a way to edit you post and comments. Sometime on a smartphone the keyboards so small you hit wrong keys without realizing it. Also you have to deal with auto correct changes your words. So an editing feature to correct those mistakes, would be great to have. If this app had that, I would give it 5⭐ for sure.

Support is nonexistent! I have been using this app since 2021. Never had an issue when an update app came up. I received a prompt for an updated version, and when I pressed to update, it came with an error message. I decided to delete the app and relog on, and it wouldn't take any of my information. Here,it is about 2 weeks later, and the so-called support" they offer has yet to help correct the issue. they keep sending me s me instructions that DO NOT WORK! So I deleted the App!

I like listening to videos while I do other things. There are several programs on Gettr that I listen to, but it's hard to do that with the videos shutting down so much. Each time, I lose my place and have to find where it was before it crashed. Not good when I have my hands full, or wet, or dirty. Especially since I'm not actually watching so I often have no idea of the location when it stopped.

I loved this app. But after a while it logged me out and then wouldn't let me log back in. It kept saying something went wrong and sadly there's no real Tech Support to help me out so I'm kind of locked out of my account. It will not let me reset my password. Everytime I put in my email to request a password reset, it just says something went wrong. Kind of bogus. It's a great app if you can stay logged in.

The app is great to use, navigation is pretty straight forward. The one star reduction is for the lack of ability to edit typos in your own comments. You have to copy it to your clipboard, delete your first comment, reapply the copy, and edit that before posting. How I found it can be done. It is nice to have more than 400 characters of space, though.
