They are nice, but don't do ANYTHING well. Its no wonder this app is among the worst in the Play Store. It crashes, acts erradically, can't be relied on. Their web server has trouble with Windows 10 browsers, so you can't manage acct on desktop. Most agents speak too slowly and not good enough English to be answering a phone in English speaking country. They work like molasses, taking 5 mins just to say YES, and don't resolve anything or call back. Their fixed rate isnt fixed, changes with usage

they lie to get you to sign up. I was told 12.8 kw for anything between 1000-1999 kilowatts used. that wasn't true. at 1000 the price goes up 24.6 kw. so my bill was close to 400 dollars for 1800 kw used.

Horrible unstable app. Freezes frequently and takes a while to load anything if it loads at all. When adding a new payment method I click save and nothing happens. I wait and click again and wait. I back out and it isnt saved. I just had to give up and use the website. What's the point of this app if it's unusable?

Take a crapshoot to see if this app will work. For me, usually not ... Awful

app makes me sign in every single time I open it. it lets me use my fingerprint and says remember me, but then I go to reopen it and I still have to sign in all over again. this is very annoying would rather just go to the mobile website

didn't work at all. just stick on the welcome screen. I'm staying to feel I made a mistake choosing this company

Crashes every single time I try to register my account. I cannot get past the screen to enter my SSN, can't register on the website either! Worthless!!!

had a hard time getting the app to work, took almost 30 minutes to pay my bill needed to access more than once.

Biometrics login doesn't work. The prompt appears before the splash screen goes away and then disappears when the app loads. Bill paying apps are supposed to make bills easier. This app fails at its only job.

New customer here, I can even enter my birthdate on this app to access my account. It crashes every single time. yes I did uninstall and reinstall, many times. The app continues to crash. Bad impression for this new customer. How am I supposed to check my usage to qualify for the $125 credit???????

I have 2 saved payment cards and it won't let me make payments on the app. extremely unhelpful.

Read the fine print legalese about "earning credit" before signing up for a plan or like me you may end up paying 17.7 cents per kWh instead of the advertised 10.1 cents. They actually penalize you for saving energy. Unbelievable!

app no longer works with galaxy s23. doesnt remember that i enabled touch id so i keep having to enter password, and became extremely slow to login, sometimes just timing out. i think it might be on purpose to make it harder to track power usage since most of their plans heavily incentivize hitting a set amount of power per month, and being under or a bit over results in large bill increase.

The app doesn't work, and the few times it does, it is inaccurate. I called the company, and they told me to call Center Point Energy so I can have my updated kilowatt usage.

I will not be renewing for a 3rd year with this provider. They can't maintain their app or website, so I wasn't able to use my default payment and had to add my debit card and endure the processing fee because Gexa made it impossible for me to use my checking account like I had for the last 11 months. Dealing with the customer service is like pulling teeth, the agents are in loud call center environments or unsecured WFH offices. Won't callback at appropriate times.

I switched to gexa at least 2 weeks ago and while their customer service was great, this app isn't! I have not been able to sign in since I downloaded it. I have reset password and username, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it....still doesn't work. I have to go to the browser every time in order to check my account. It's not right.

Just switched to Gexa in the ever spinning roulette of Texan energy providers. Got the app to make things easier. Went to register my account in the app, when it asked for my birthdate the form filed expects a xx/xx/xxxx input but only gives a numerical input without the '/' symbol, every time I got to the third digit the app crashed (tried 3 times to the same crash). So I went to website to do it and got to the "send a text to confirm" step and the website never sent it. Great start with Gexa.

App makes it hard to manage my daily energy consumption so I can save money and still hit the mandatory 1,000 kw per month (this activates a $100 bill credit). The app usually lags about 5-8 days behind, so you're not sure. Then you find out you have to use about 300 kw in a few days to get the $100 credit, forcing you to choose the credit over comfort. 🤮

Trash app, most of the time it won't show my balance. I feel it's not the app that's the problem, it's the company that is the problem. Can't use the app, try to call can't get passed the automated answering service. The only way I know how much I owe is when they send me an email telling me I'm passed due. The monthly bills are extremely inconsistent as well. As soon as my contract is over I'm changing to a different company.

It has the right idea, but fails on the presentation perspective. For example, the "current usage" chart has labels on the horizontal axis that are tiny grey letters on a white background. Totally unreadable. Use a black font please.. Maybe even a thicker/bold font. Developer: Contact me if you want a screenshot.
