The app opens, asks what to call me and never goes beyond that. Why does it even need my name, I know it is not a person? I need zero stars as a rating option. Why should I have to give the app. even one star if it doesn't work?
Reviews for Glidden
← Back to GliddenI tried several paints matching apps and this one was the easiest to use and provided a very good match.
Colors shown on your room are no where close to the colors you choose. Beyond disappointed. Now I'm back to square one 👎
easy to use, let's you see the matching color inside a circle you can move around your uploaded photo.... easy to use.
Better than Home Depots color viewer app but I find the app allowing you to select multiple colors but only applying one of them to the whole picture.
Not very helpful. All the colors look alike when applied to the photos of my room, which look completely different from the swatch (every beige looks grey/blue, etc.)
When i tried to visualize the color on my uploaded photo, it would only ever display the same light blue color even though i was selecting dark gray, almost black colors.
Not intuitive at all. If I tap a color and I tap a wall it should paint that wall. Why does it need to be more difficult than that? Didn't even look any color meshing techniques, or color palette. This is aggravating
Only app that gave me a straight answer to what paint codes could be on my wall. Was able to narrow down 5 chips that I was able to use rather than sit there guessing.
very limiting and it automatically selects my first color that I cannot change. I don't like that color but they have that color for everything.
been using for a day. like the color finder feature. very useful for my graphic design and AI art projects. make finding the right color much easier.
Can't upload my own home photo to try colors . This app seems pretty easy to use and isn't cluttered but it would be nice to have the option to upload your own photos to app like the other competitors
the "Find and Play" tool can help narrow down choices, & there's a section offering suggestions based on the style you want (they have lists at the bottom of room menues) & they have a color matching tool. [DISCLAIMER. THE "VISUALIZE COLORS TOOL IS IN BETA.] The visualize tool is very bad. There's no option to zoom in, can't use more than 1 color, & can't fill in areas at all if there are shadows. I recommend using the website for this function instead until they improve on this tool.
Just wanted to use the visualize feature to see what room would look like, and this app sucks at it. It's so frustrating to use, I don't even want to use their paint anymore. Nice work!
I tested this app by having it match the colors on the Glidden paint strips from the store. it could only identify the colors about 50% of the time.
found the program hard to customize to my project. it was eaay to order swatches but a trip to Home Depot does that for me. stumbled across a place to work with a pallet of colors in a room. could not find it agàin and looked in menus. would like to see a help menu in the app.
It allows you to put a picture of the room you want to paint on the app, but then it won't change the color all the way. It always made blotchy, incomplete coloring on the walls I wanted to vizualize. It was really frustrating to use! I wouldn't recommend this app.
hard to use app to paint your own photos. Would not recommend.
Stopped working. Used to love this app and all of a sudden, midday, in the middle of a project planning, it stops accessing my photos to color match. Since I'm gathering ideas online and screenshot-ing inspiration, it no longer serves my purpose if it shuts down whenever I click to get a picture from my photo library.
Failed to match their own color swatches that I got from a store. I suggest providing recommended lighting settings that should be used for that utility to be accurate. Unfortunately, that's all I wanted from this app. I have a feeling the rest it works fine, like searching for a product and ordering.
