Description
Been using GlobalComix: Comic Book Reader for a couple months now. It’s basically this app where you can read tons of comics – like, over 100,000 different titles. There’s stuff from big publishers like DC and Marvel, but also a ton of indie and webcomics you can’t find anywhere else. It’s got a pretty low monthly subscription fee, which is nice.
Every week they add new comics, so there’s always fresh stuff to check out. And you can browse by genre, see what’s trending, or just dive into some of their exclusive vertical scroll series. Those are pretty cool – it’s like reading a comic made specifically for your phone.
Look, if you’re a big comic book fan, you’ll probably love this app. It’s got a ton of variety and the price is way cheaper than buying individual issues. Only thing is, the app can be a little buggy sometimes and the free tier is pretty limited. But overall it’s a solid way to read lots of comics for cheap.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on GlobalComix: Comic Book Reader. I've tested a bunch of comic book apps and this one's pretty solid. The library is huge, with tons of popular titles as well as hidden gems you can't find anywhere else. And the vertical comics they've created are a really cool, mobile-friendly format. The price is great too - you get access to the full catalog for less than the cost of a single physical comic.
The main downside is that the free version is pretty limited, so you'll have to pay to unlock the full experience. And I've run into some bugs here and there, like the app crashing or the library not loading properly. But those issues haven't been dealbreakers for me. Overall, if you're a comic book fan looking for a convenient and affordable way to read, GlobalComix is definitely worth checking out.

She ain't comixology but she does more than just float. Just wish I could buy more recent books on it.
Love the fact that paying or subscribing isn't a must to get comics to read Really love the app
