Immediately deleted after the snake bite rhyme for identifying Coral snakes. "Red on yellow will kill a fellow.....". Completely false and will get you killed. This rhyme needs to die.

SOME first aid advice is free. Others need a subscription. Useless in an emergency. If you are looking for a wilderness first aid resource this is not it.

Registration and too many permissions needed

Installed ok on my Android 12 phone. Could be useful. But the voucher from LA Times only gives me one free month of subscription. Woo-woo! Thanks.

Won't install. Have gone through all Play Store suggestions for incomplete downloads. UPDATE 07042022: App now installs. I'll adjust the rating further once I evaluate its functions.

I haven't used this yet, but I was immediately put off by the very poor English in two pieces I had to accept before proceeding to sign in.

Amazing app! A few days ago, we went for a hike in the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah with a group of friends. One member of our group fainted about 2 hours into the hike. We used GOES to identify the problem as heat exhaustion and then followed the instructions to help them first to recover and eventually to return safely back to the car. Definititely a must have for anyone who wants to explore the outdoors with confidence.

I download it because it literally says OFFLINE but then asks for monthly subscription. could be the best app in the world but I'm not paying for something I'm literally not trying to have internet for.

Deleted immediately. Contains misinformation regarding snake identification, as well as where they are located. I didn't even bother getting into the suggested treatments considering how incorrect everything else was. As is, I wouldn't let family members trust this app.

The main screen simply does not work. It loads forever. And they want you to be subscribed. Without subscription the app is almost empty

Not fully functional. Can't scroll to options, and activities like snow sports not yet available. Received a code for free access but no way to input it. Can only sign in using google or Facebook and don't want to use that info here. Uninstalled.

GOES is a must have app. It encourages me to explore the outdoors safely and with confidence. Having gone through a knee replacemnt surgery for a while i didnt feel comfortable hiking and walking out of fear i would further injure my knee. As someone who loves hiking i found this very difficult. Once i learnt about GOES I felt a lot more confident to go outdoors again because i knew that if something were to to happen i would have the best resource in my back pocket.

Ingenious app! Easy to use interface and gives me peace of mind if I get into trouble in the wild. I also appreciate the landing page which gives me the local time and weather with the associated warnings!
