A decent app, a lot of positives. But there are a lot of ads, I know it's free, but man, they're frequent. I think it should also save your portfolio preferences, i.e., grams or troy oz, USD or AUD, every time I put something in I have to manually do this, not a big deal but could be improved.
Easy to use and understand format . All the information you require is there quickly .
Simple. Like that it let's you change to price per gram/grain also, so you don't have to pull out the calculator when trying to figure out pricing quickly.
(update - latest version has a bunch of improvements including a working CSV export, improved my rating). Was good until I moved device. i backed up to Google, it created a portfolio.db file.. Problem is it won't restore. Even if I copy that file manually, hit restore and browse to folder with file, but there is no way to select the file, just tap it and nothing happens. So on both old and new device I can successfully create backups, just can't restore them, so can't transfer my portfolio.
I like the simplicity of your app However when adding purchases in the portfolio I encountered the following limitations 1. When reviewing the summary (Sum) it doesn't take into account the purchase currency, e.g. I added in QAR and GBP but the summary doesn't the ER 2. Are you able to add additional optional fields there are details I would like to add, e.g. Place of purchase, Serial numbers of the bars, Brand, Date of Purchase, etc. Do you agree?
Before the update, I used to swipe down to refresh the prices every five minutes, and it used to work perfectly. Now after the update, the prices only refresh when you enter the app (and sometimes they don't). And when I swipe down, prices don't refresh anymore. I hope you can fix this to update my review. Otherwise, this app is great!
Excellent easy to read and use App.
Really nice app. I have two Android phones and an Android Tablet please. My request is can you sync the portfolio and data on these devices so the app is more universal. Other apps allow this. Thanks.
Very nice app, but Prices take a lot of time to update (2 days delay)
overall great app. fast and easy to calculate gold and silver prices. my only complaint is that the newest update took away the ability to put a negative markup. I found this feature handy for calculate how much under melt something is.
