Reviews for GoodFM - Dramas & Audiobooks

← Back to GoodFM - Dramas & Audiobooks

App is ok, and stories are interesting. But unfortunately, I probably won't even finish the story. I just started, and I've spent more time watching ads than I have reading. There are too many ads to just read a small portion, and the coins are to expensive. To read one story is triple or more than the amount I'd pay for a hardcopy book

I love the stories but whats the point of paying a subscription when its not unlimited & still paying for credits. I been digging around for more information on this app but hard to find. I found the reviews more helpful than the app and info out there about goodfm. Such a sad case that the stories are amazing but cost so much. Such a disappointment. You get sucked in to a novel and do not realize how much you spent on the bk. I canceled my subscription! Will look else where!

It's an OK app. I don't like how much these coins are.. You end up paying on 30 bucks to complete a book. I may only finish 1 book on this app. My other audiobook is less expensive. I don't mind paying bit when the cost is outrageous I tend to not. I don't want to feel like I'm being robbed when I'm willing to spend money but at a reasonable price.

I love reading the books on this app. The werewolf stories are my favorite. However, without spending money that I don't have, it is taking forever to even read a book. It would be cool if we could earn more coins at check-in or watching videos. Getting 1 to 3 points a video takes alot of videos to have enough to read a chapter, let alone 2 chapters.

I used to love this app. However, most books are read by a computer voice and are not updated. So after spending so much on each book and chapter to never get an update. I had to find the sister app to finish reading most my books to know how they end. So I had to pay twice for a book. Which is not right. If a book doesn't say complete I do not start it anymore. It's not so user friendly when looking up other books by the same author.

Stories are good. I may drop because too much effort to watch ads so that I can see the next clip. I also have to spend so many coins just to see the outcome of a prolonged scene. As a result, I will either have to wait to earn more coins or drop the series entirely. I will not pay for the subscription because it is too much in the long run. This is unfortunate because you really have some engaging stories. Thanks for listening.

I wonder if all the 4 and 5 stars are paid by the company. The bonus for time listening don't work. I don't get the proper credit for the time I listen. I listen for 50 minutes and only gets credited for 20 minutes. I've emailed and added comments multiple times. The people who own/support the app sometimes respond. But the is happening everyday. Once I'm out of coins, I won't be purchasing anymore. I hate that because I have a couple of books I'm enjoying.

Great books but is expensive to listen to, like paying 30+ coins for 4 minute chapters. doesn't always acknowledge the time spent listening. Sometimes doesn't even register the books I read. And the only other way to get free coins is to buy the top-up when they're adding bonuses or by paying for the yearly subscription on top of paying for more coins. The math doesn't make sense...

It's fm. I thought that meant audio books. Isn't GoodShorts for the videos?I noticed the other day I did not get extra points for listening an amount of time. It says watch. And now they've changed the whole interface. I couldn't find my library. I'm not paying money and not getting extra points for listening. There are plenty of other apps with the same stories and bonus points.

It's good when your into a book but, random books keep playing automatically as soon as you open the app. The issue needs to be fixed. It's annoying. None of the other apps do this. There needs to be a setting where you can choose to turn on or off the option for a random book to start. I don't want my couns and bonuses to be wasted on a book I'm not interested in especially when I haven't finished the one I'm currently reading. Please fix the issue!

I love listening to audio books while at work it helps pass the time. When I downloaded GoodFM I was ecstatic! Not only are the books awesome but the narrators are amazing as well, it's not played by a computerized voice, where there isnt any emotions to the words you hear. And yes you have to spend some money if you want to continue listening to the story, but in my opinion we'll worth it.

When I find a book that isn't a robotic/computerized book, I love them! However, the problem is a majority are that way. If I am going to pay someone to read to me, I don't want a robot doing it. Almost paid for the premium until I learn most all of those books are in the robotic voice. It really ruins the book for me when those are the ones I pick bc they sound like such good books. Or incomplete books that never get updated. Those also make the app lose points.

I love the books! However, I feel the coin system should run a bit differently. Almost $30 to get enough coins to get not even a third of a book completed. As soon as I finish my current one (-The Alphas Blind Mate- I'm hooked!) I'm deleting the app. I can just go to the book store and buy books for less than that! Other than that, I like the app.

I love being able to get my house work done while listening to the book! It's really convenient. The only thing that can be improved on so far is the premium subscription billing. The app days one thing and when you go to pay for it, the billing is something else. Don't mind the price, but if your app says that the subscription is billed monthly then that is how it should be paid for with the option of the full year payment.

I very much enjoy the app. I love the stories that are on it. I however don't like some of the coin prices of each chapter. Some of them seem a little too much for not a lot of time in a chapter. And after every purchase of a chapter it tries to set it up automatically to take your coins easier. Even whenever you switch the automatic off on all of your stories it still continues to do it.

Love the stories but the cost is very high. I went to see how much a batch purchase was for one of the books... the remaining chapters would cost 8k coins which is like $100. That's a ridiculous cost for a book. There's a lot of chapters, but they are all short. As much as I love the current book I'm on, I've never had to spend this much finishing a book. Total cost if I bought it would be astronomical. Full audio books and chapters need to be more affordable. My use of the app will be limited.

Good stories, but not worth the money. About $50 for 1 book with about 129 chapters. Over half the books are AI narrators. It feels like I'm on a robo call and they're trying to scan me out of money listening those. Not worth it, I enjoy Wehear better. Wehear has audiobooks for free with some wait time and it much more affordable. I understand you have to pay for the novel and narrators but it's not affordable, there are many other apps out there that are doing the same that are affordable.

I really liked this app when I first got it. I got the premium package for better books. After a year of paying the premiums I could no longer afford it. When I cancelled I lost every book I had already paid for. I was told I could only have them if I kept the premium. Premium is a rip off. Now I just use coins from listening to books. But several of those have just disappeared. Customer service is almost nil

I loved the app initially, even though a many of the books have a robotic voice over. But it's crazy that some books I've read completely have the chapters locked when I go back to read them again. But what really burned my grits is that I was in the middle of a great book, which I previously read but was locked, and it just stopped and popped up an error message saying book not found. And when I go to my library or the search bar it's been removed. No warning or anything. Just money wasted.

I would have given the app a 5 star, but for two reasons. They have good audio books in my preferred genres, but firstly, their coins are too expensive. Secondly, the subscription is FAKE. I have never had a subscription that I have to buy coins in addition to what I paid in subscription in order to listen to a book.My other app charges $39 for 3 months and you can listen to anything you want until the 3 months is up. Give us a real subscription, and we'll subscribe.
