Normally, I love Chrome. However, lately, it hasn't been working correctly. Like pages won't load or work right, and when they do load nothing, I click on works, as well as as when I refresh it wont load it just says this site can't be reached and I never had issues before. I have deleted the cache and also turned off my VPN, but it didn't help
Reviews for Google Chrome
← Back to Google ChromeChrome is a great browser but there are some very odd things. every time I want to open the browser I want it to go to the last page I was on I don't care if it was an hour ago or a week ago, The last page should be there; however, what are the last updates makes it so everyday (regardless of settings) It opens a new tab. there's a labs setting that can make web pages dark mode I don't understand why years later that's not just an option. back button should just go to the last thing I was doing
I use a variety of browsers depending on what I'm working on. The latest Chrome browser on Samsung Galaxy S25s works great! I've read a few people upset cuz they're blaming Chrome for not letting them stop video auto play. You CAN control auto play in Chrome in multiple ways including add-ons. Even YT controls auto play. Ask Gemini for help or a tech friend. It's not complicated.
every frequent update they do would be great if it didn't break something and makes the app unusable. it's also annoying that these small updates mean I would lose hours of research for work. because the app somehow "conveniently" forgets all of my searches and forces me to waste even more time, trying to get it all back.
How come Dark mode isn't forced on sites automatically or improved upon? I like Chrome but if Forced Dark Mode worked better, it would make my eyes so much easier. I had to look up how to even find force dark mode at first because it wasn't in the settings. *Some texts on certain pages can become hard to read due to Chrome not being developed enough for it, or colors like green for example being too bright. *If you need an example for how it's done properly, try Samsung Internet Browser.
UPDATE: adding back a star since the blank page (after loading) issue seems to have been fixed. I still dislike that "find" has to wait for the scrolling animation. The bar on the left shows all occurrences on the page anyway, so the scroll is entirely superfluous.
Fast, Reliable & User-Friendly! 🚀 Google Chrome is hands down the best web browser out there. It's super fast, easy to use, and syncs seamlessly across all my devices. I love the clean design, helpful extensions, and strong security features. Perfect for work, study, or casual browsing—Chrome never lets me down! 🌐🔒💻
So many problems just today! It logged me out perhaps 6 times. I asked for help which failed badly. I asked how to find out how much time was left on my meter and how to add more. It refers to the activity tab. I say "I don't see an activity menu" It stays "This chat has ended. Parker just left the conversation" It kept somehow switching between the app and a browser window.
I updated phone to Pixel 9. Now chrome often freezes when the page downloads. Reloading doesn't help, reload button doesn't even work. it just keeps showing an X to stop loading the page, except it doesn't work. Seems to happen on almost every other page load. Makes Chrome almost unusable. "Suggestions" from developer do not help. Clearing the cache and pausing and unpausing the app seem to be the only thing that work and even then not always.
Google Chrome is hands down one of the fastest and most reliable web browsers I’ve used. It’s clean, simple to navigate, and loaded with features that make browsing smooth and secure. I really appreciate the built-in Google integration — syncing bookmarks, history, and passwords across devices makes switching from phone to laptop seamless. Plus, the wide range of extensions helps customize the browser to fit my personal or business needs.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Fast, reliable, and smooth! 🚀🌍 Google Chrome is my favorite browser! It’s super fast, clean, and easy to use. Pages load quickly, and I love how everything syncs with my Google account—bookmarks, passwords, and history! 🔐💻📲 Incognito mode is helpful, and I like the voice search and built-in Google Translate too! 🎤🌐 But sometimes it takes more RAM and drains battery a bit faster on mobile 😅🔋. Still, the best browser out there—whether for school, work, or entertainment! 💯✅
Chrome is the only browser I've used, and I've never had one issue until here lately. The 3 dots menu in the upper right corner will not do anything until after multiple tries. I can't save a bookmark, can't open a page in the browser, can't share, and even on the Google search page, I can't get settings or help and feedback to open. I've cleared cache, force-stopped, uninstalled, and reinstalled. I'm using an S23 Ultra, Android version 15. Please help!!
Google Chrome is my go-to web browser for its speed, reliability, and seamless integration across all my devices. I love how my bookmarks, history, and passwords sync automatically, making browsing incredibly convenient whether I'm on my phone or computer. The incognito mode is great for privacy, and the vast array of extensions available enhances its functionality even further. It's a powerful and efficient browser that handles all my internet needs effortlessly, making it truly indispensable.
Chrome used to be amazing but as of the past year or so it's gradually gone down hill. I'm missing passwords that I know I've saved they're not syncing properly. Since the Android update update the other day nothing loads it just hangs on a blank screen then I get Chrome isn't responding error. I installed the update because it was laggy but everything got worse so now I basically can't use the internet most of the time. Please fix this
I don't know what y'all did to your app, but it crashes repeatedly. And to get it out of the way: yes, I am connected to the internet, yes I have cleared cache and data, no my scans have detected no malware. It's all your app. Opening new tabs freezes or crashes the app entirely, I have to close and reopen sometimes twice in a row. I'll assume you're all aware by now and hopefully know what the problem is, because I can't use a broken browser app.
It is one of the best browsers I’ve used. It’s super fast, easy to navigate, and works smoothly across all my devices. I love how it syncs my bookmarks, history, and passwords so I can pick up right where I left off, whether I'm on my phone or laptop. Plus, the extensions and customization options are really useful. It just makes browsing feel effortless and reliable every time.
The same as every one else who gave it one star. I'm tired of this. Make sure your connected to the internet and clear the cashe bla bla. None of the fixes they suggest works. I can no longer open webpages or sign in to them. I go to the website, and the page is blank, it use to have outlines of empty boxes where text should be, and now it has nothing. Followed all of the suggested fixes, and nothing works. I think it's time for a new browser!
Google Chrome is ridiculously large burdensome BLOATWARE! It takes up more space than most other apps by a large margin! I can't do security updates, etc apparently because I don't have enough memory space available! But I have more than 1gb of space available! So this is ridiculous! Chrome is described as simple and secure, bs! It's absolutely NOT either one! If I have to buy a new phone it will NOT be another bloatware riddled Android phone! So gfy and STOP the BLOATWARE, Google Developers!!!
A good browser if you're looking for something quick that works smoothly. but there is one flaw, whenever I get on certain websites it always gives me a black screen so I can't see anything I try to refresh and it does the same thing, I clear cache I uninstall and reinstall the app I power my phone off and reset it and it still does this, hopefully you can fix this.
Chrome keeps crashing on my Pixel 8 pro. Chrome updated a few days ago, and as of last night I can not use it. Any attempt to click links or go back causes the app to close. I've sent emails, but it seems that putting a bad review is the only way to get help, which is frustrating. I will also note that Play Store has a non-functional email listed in the "support" drop-down for Chrome. Please remove or replace it.
