I’ve been using Google Lens for a few months now and it’s a pretty neat little app. Basically, it lets you point your camera at things around you and it’ll identify what you’re looking at. So you can use it to translate text, get info on landmarks, find out what kind of plant or animal you’re looking at, and even search for products you see in the real world.
There’s a bunch of different features – you can scan text and it’ll let you copy it, translate it, add it to your calendar, and more. It’s got options to identify plants and animals, which is cool if you’re into that kind of thing. And you can also just point it at places around you to get info on the businesses, restaurants, and landmarks.
Look, if you’re the kind of person who’s always curious about the world around you and loves learning new stuff, you’ll probably get a kick out of Google Lens. It’s not perfect – the text recognition can be a little hit or miss sometimes and the animal/plant identification isn’t always 100% accurate. But overall it’s a pretty solid tool and I’ve found it useful more times than not. Worth checking out for sure.
